Lifetime is upping its holiday movie game by adding three movies to its 2022 It’s a Wonderful Lifetime movie slate, which will include a reunion of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman stars Jane Seymour and Joe Lando in a flick executive produced by Toni Braxton.
A Christmas Spark follows a widow (Seymour) who has lost her zest for life and given up on ever finding love again. She reluctantly takes on the job of directing the town’s Christmas pageant and soon finds herself falling for her leading man (Lando), the town’s most eligible bachelor.
A Christmas Spark is produced by Lighthouse Pictures and is being distributed by Sony Pictures Television. Braxton, Stephen Bulka and Jamie Goehring are executive producing. Rhonda Baraka directs from a script by Eirene Tran Donohue.

Lifetime is reuniting “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” co-stars Jane Seymour and Joe Lando in a holiday movie this year, Variety can exclusively announce. The duo will star in “A Christmas Spark,” executive produced by Toni Braxton. Variety can also reveal that the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup will also feature two more films on its 2022 slate: “Merry Swissmas,” starring Jodie Sweetin and Tim Rozon; and “Kirk Franklin’s the Night Before Christmas,” starring Naturi Naughton and Luke James.

A new indie horror film is in development. The film is titled Death Ward 13. Inspired by Don't Look in the Basement (1973) and Edgar Allen Poe's short story "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether" (1845), this title is being developed by director Todd Nunes (All Through the House) and writer Tara Knight. Filming will take place in Los Angeles, in the Winter of 2016. And now, a movie poster is available for the film. The film's story deals with Stephen's Sanitarium. This facility is slated to close. Four nursing students are helping with the transition. But, the lunatics are running the asylum. Under attack, the nurses quickly learn who is in charge - the criminally insane! Bone Crusher Films will produce this horror outing. This will be the first production for this studio. And, more details will be posted on Death Ward 13, once they are released. Release Date: 2017. Director: Todd Nunes.
