The first trailer has been released for an interesting looking supernatural film called Clara’s Ghost. The movie has a very strange tone that lies somewhere between comedy and madness. There were mixed reactions to this film at Sundance last year, but if you like what you see in this trailer, you might actually enjoy this movie. Here’s the synopsis:
Set over the course of a single evening in the Reynolds family home in suburban Connecticut, Clara's Ghost tells the story of Clara Reynolds who, fed up with constant ribbing from her self-absorbed showbiz family, finds solace in and guidance from the supernatural force she believes is haunting her.
The movie stars Abby Elliott, Bridey Elliott, Chris Elliott, Isidora Goreshter, Haley Joel Osment, and Paula Niedert Elliott.
Clara’s Ghost will be released on December 6, 2018.

"Stop making fun of me!" Orion Classics has released the first official trailer for an indie horror comedy of sorts titled Clara's Ghost, which initially premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. I kept hearing some good things about this but haven't had a chance to catch up with it yet. Set over the course of a single evening in the Reynolds family home in suburban Connecticut, Clara's Ghost tells the story of Clara Reynolds who, fed up with her self-absorbed showbiz family, finds some solace in and guidance from the supernatural force that she believes is haunting her. The film stars Abby Elliott, Bridey Elliott, Chris Elliott, Isidora Goreshter, Haley Joel Osment, and introducing Paula Niedert Elliott as Clara. This actually looks pretty damn good, something a bit different with all kinds of crazy things going on. See below. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Bridey Elliott's Clara's Ghost,...

Shameless may be entering Season 9, but that's not to say the show is running out of storylines.
If anything, the series is one of the most resilient around, and that's thanks to the expansive cast who get a whole lot to work with.
In any case, it's great to have confirmation that Shameless is returning to Showtime this year.
The premium cable network has released a brand new video that shows us some of our favorite characters, as well as some commentary from the actors.
The premiere date is Sunday, September 9, and it will continue to air in the 9/8c slot.
That means we'll be getting caught up with the Gallaghers and their friends a whole two months earlier this time around.
We already know that Isidora Goreshter aka Svetlana will not appear in Season 8. Aside from that, the rest of the cast is expected to return.
What schemes will...

"I miss the person that I met three years ago... That guy was romantic." Netflix has debuted the first trailer for a romantic comedy titled Happy Anniversary, which is the directorial debut of screenwriter Jared Stern. The story is about a couple, as they approach their third anniversary, who must decide whether to stay together or call it quits. This actually looks maybe even better than you're expecting, so you might want to take a look anyway. Ben Schwartz (from The Intervention, "Parks and Rec") and Noel Wells (from Mr. Roosevelt, Infinity Baby, "Master of None") star as the main couple Sam and Mollie, with a cast including Annie Potts, Joe Pantoliano, Isidora Goreshter, and Rahul Kohli. This does look like a good mix of humor and emotion, with some funny and still poignant moments. Might hit a little close to home for some. Sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating, always honest, Clara’s Ghost–written and directed by Bridey Elliott–is doing a lot on a limited budget. It stars the entire Elliott family (sister Abby, father Chris, mother Paula and Bridey herself) over the course of one strange, drunk evening. With a brisk runtime and set almost entirely in a big ole house, plenty of character tangents are introduced and nothing is really resolved. In a way, it’s admirable in its messiness.
There’s the mother, our ostensible lead here, who feels invisible next to her famous family members. She’s also being haunted by a overly-metaphorical ghost. In an impressive turn from Chris Elliott, there’s the father, an ex-comedy star struggling with the ex part. There’s the sister, obsessed with herself and her upcoming wedding, portrayed by Abby Elliott, offering a bravely complex performance. And finally, there’s Bridey herself,...

Due to difficult contract talks, it looked like the Shameless TV show might be cancelled after its seventh season on Showtime, or return without star Emmy Rossum, who was holding out for pay parity. In the end, all parties were able to arrive at an agreement, so the Gallagher family is back for its eighth season. How long will viewers have a ringside seat to their dysfunction? Will Shameless be cancelled or renewed for season nine? Stay tuned. A black comedy, Shameless follows alcoholic father Frank Gallagher (William H. A post shared by Emmy Rossum (@emmyrossum) on May 29, 2017 at 8:59am Pdt Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmail are married! The pair got engaged in August 2015 after two years of dating and made their relationship official on Sunday when they tied the knot at the East 55th St. Conservative Synagogue in NYC. The Shameless actress wore a white custom off-the-shoulder gown from Carolina Herrera (just like we thought she would!), while Sam - who writes and executive produces Mr. Robot - opted for a classic black suit. People reports that the ceremony was "intimate" and included A-list guests like Robert Downey Jr., William H. Macy, Rami Malek, Christian Slater, and Hilary Swank. A group of Emmy's Shameless costars also attended and shared photos of the lively reception at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Congratulations to the happy couple! We partied and partied some more! This celebration of @emmyrossum and @samesmail's union was epic!

Did Shameless tie things up a little too well?
Monica's death brought the Gallagher family together on Shameless Season 7 Episode 12 as they tried to decide how she would be laid to rest.
Fiona just wanted the whole thing to be over with. Deep down, it's clear that Fiona blames Monica for making her life a living hell every time she showed up. Fiona has spent most of her life looking after her siblings and even her father.
Monica's death irked Fiona because she knew there was no way she was ever going to be relieved of her motherly duties to her siblings.
It sucks, but that's Fiona's life, and it has been for all of those years. Fiona hitting Monica's lifeless corpse was her way of venting her frustration about Monica bringing all of the children into the world without even looking after them.

The indie horror short may be one of the most underrated art forms in existence today. This kind of thing just doesn't happen in other mediums. A 10-minute 'buddy comedy' or a song that's only one verse and one chorus wouldn’t work. But good indie horror shorts work. Say hello to Rebecca.
There is very little I can say about Rebecca without giving away its Omg moment. The initial scenes will remind all of us of arguments we've had with our better halves from time to time, but Rebecca has a big issue she needs to work through. A very big one.
The performance of the beautiful Isidora Goreshter is top-notch, and director Judson Scott creates a brilliant environment for her to sow the seeds of her insanity. Rebecca is less than 10 minutes long and very entertaining. Believe us; it's worth your time. And be sure to watch through the credits.
