2014 was certainly rich in music! The year featured an eclectic mix of styles, syncopations, and superb singers. From the fast modern beats, to the classic raag, to the romantic melodies the music directors of Bollywood gave us many songs to add to our playlists. Islamabad, May 6 – In a first of its kind, several Indian stars attended the premiere of Virsa, a joint Indo-Pakistan Punjabi production that will be screened in Lahore today.
The Punjabi movie is being released in Pakistan, India, Australia and Canada and several other countries on May 7.
The film is being considered a true joint effort from both India and Pakistan in many areas of the film such as singing, where both countries have participated – Jawad Ahmad, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Ahmad and Farah from Pakistan and Richa Sharma and Krishna from India.
