One of the game show episode’s sweet prizes is an on-stage marriage officiated by Wayne Brady.

In a teaser for the upcoming episode, the host mentions to his two lovebird contestants, Ian Champana and Natalie Ball, that he has the power to officiate weddings.

“I am legally qualified to marry people. I’ve married people on the show before,” Wayne said, surprising the two contestants.

Wayne Brady: The Family Remix will not return for a second season. According to People, Hulu has canceled the reality series. The news comes from Wayne Brady himself.

The series featured his blended family dynamic, which includes himself, his 22-year-old Maile Masako, her mother, Mandie Taketa, and Taketa’s boyfriend, Jason Fordham. The series followed the four of them.

Brady said the following about the show’s cancellation:

“There is no season 2 from Hulu. But we loved doing season 1, and who knows? Things may change and we may pop up somewhere doing something, but the bottom line is we're always a family.”

The series premiered on in July 2024 after being ordered by . The series ended in September.

The network announced Wednesday that it has two new reality series set to premiere this year — Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise and Wayne Brady: The Family Remix. Details on both series are below.

The news comes as Freeform wrapped one of its flagship scripted series, Good Trouble, on Tuesday after five seasons. Grown-ish, another young adult series that helped the network usher in its new era once it rebranded from ABC Family, is also ending this month.

The network is now focused on repositioning its programming once again to include a larger slate of unscripted original series. The two newly announced series join the existing slate that includes Chrissy & Dave Dine Out, and the upcoming Royal Rules of Ohio and Sasha Reid & The Midnight Order.

“It’s all Country,” which will be hosted by Bryan, will spotlight impactful artists and memorable performances that have push the genre to new heights since its genesis. Bryan and Manning will executive produce the six-part docuseries, with a premiere date for the series forthcoming.

The official logline is as follows: “A premium, pop-culture-forward docuseries, ‘It’s All Country’ explores the hottest people, topics and moments in country music by examining the iconic songs and artists that changed the face of country music forever. A pansexual individual’s sexuality may evolve over time. Brady was formerly married to Mandie Taketa, and the two share a daughter, Maile. He said to People he has been attracted to men in the past, but has never dated one.

Pansexual individuals are sometimes non-binary, but the two are not mutually exclusive.
