Big Mouth final season release date revealed (and it's soon!)
Image
One of the best adult animated comedies out there is definitely Big Mouth! And after having the series around for almost eight years, first debuting in September 2017, there's the bittersweet news that the upcoming season 8 will be the final season. Co-created by Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and star Nick Kroll, this was the funny series we needed.

But instead of being sad, let's celebrate the greatness of it and get excited for the last batch of episodes to come. When will that be exactly? Well, the good news is that the release date has been revealed and it's actually very soon! Big Mouth season 8, aka the final season, premieres Friday, May 23, 2025 on Netflix. Just like previous seasons, this one will conclude with 10 episodes.

From Cobra Kai to Stranger Things: Netflix TV Shows Ending in 2025
Image
It is a year of big goodbyes for fans of Netflix shows. Two of the most popular shows on Netflix and across streamers, Stranger Things and Squid Game, are wrapping up in 2025. Fans will also miss other favorite shows like Cobra Kai which began streaming episodes of its final season in 2024.

Netflix’s most popular shows Stranger Things and Squid Game are coming to an end in 2025 | Credits: Netflix

Most of the shows in this list will leave with a proper ending. Hopefully, Netflix won’t cancel as many shows as it did in 2024. However, there is speculation among fans that shows like Fubar, The Recruit, and Supacell might get the axe from the streamer in 2025.

9. Cobra Kai

The last batch of episodes of the three-part Cobra Kai finale will drop on Netflix on February 13. The creators decided to split the sixth and final season of the series into three parts of five episodes each.

Why “Big Mouth” Is Ending After Season 8, Explained
Image
After over half a decade of bringing about a groundbreaking and unapologetically raw exploration of adolescence, sexuality, and tackling taboo topics with heart, humor, and a dose of absurdity, Netflix’s Big Mouth is finally coming to an end. Having premiered in 2017, it quickly became a cultural phenomenon, resonating with audiences through its candid and hilarious take on puberty, relationships, identity, s*x, and the general awkwardness of growing up.

Big Mouth | Credit: Netflix

Utilizing a colorful cast of characters and an array of imaginative and often outrageous scenarios, Big Mouth has consistently pushed boundaries and sparked conversations about subjects that would be too uncomfortable or inappropriate for the mainstream media to pursue. With its unique blend of humor and cartoons to address taboo subjects worthy of being addressed and acknowledged, it is now a favorite of viewers of all ages.

Despite its success and cultural impact, as all good...

Trump Border Czar: States That Don’t ‘Cooperate’ With Deportations Will See Funding Cut
Image
Donald Trump’s incoming “border czar” Tom Homan says the administration will revoke federal funding for states that refuse to “cooperate” with the administration’s plans to conduct mass deportations.

In a Sunday interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, Homan said that “those mayors and those governors who say they’re going to stop Ice from doing their job, stop me from doing this job,” would face the retribution of the federal government.

“If you have a governor who says I am not going to cooperate, I’m going to...

Big Mouth Season 8: Cast, Story & Everything We Know
Image
Big Mouth season 8 is the final chapter in Netflixs raunchy adult coming-of-age comedy, and speculation on how the stories of Nick, Andrew, and their Hormone Monsters end is high. Big Mouth debuted on Netflix in 2017 and has gone on to have seven critically and audience-acclaimed seasons. Big Mouth season 8 is planned as the final season of Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flacketts animated sitcom about puberty and life in Middle School, and while many subscribers are sad to see the show end, its set up to conclude on a satisfying note.

With Nick and Andrew in different high schools and Jessi exploring her feelings for women, Big Mouth season 8 is the last season and will find the core trio going their separate ways. As a coming-of-age TV show, Big Mouth always had a natural conclusion as the characters continued to age and mature. Netflix giving fans, and the creators,...

Donald Trump Reveals Who Barron Trump Ran To Upon Learning Of His Assassination Attempt
Image
Former Potus Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt in July and he now is speaking out about his youngest son Barron’s reaction to the near-death experience.

Donald, who is running for reelection this year, told Fox News’ Mark Levin that his only child with Melania Trump was “having a tennis lesson” when he learned his father had been shot during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. According to Donald, someone “ran up” to the 18-year old and yelled “Your father’s been shot!”

Barron Trump’s – Reaction To His Father’s Shooting

Barron then ran to his mother who saw the event unfold in real time on television. Melania saw what the rest of the nation did, that a bullet grazed her husband’s right ear and then chaos ensued.

Trump was shot on Saturday, July 13 after turning his head, with the bullet piercing the skin of his right ear.

Netflix's Big Mouth Has Become Sex Ed For An Entire Generation (And They Know It)
Image
After the completion of the upcoming eighth and final season, "Big Mouth" will surpass "Grace & Frankie" and tie with "Elite" to become the longest-running Netflix Original scripted series in the streamer's history. The adult animated coming-of-age sitcom created by Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett was brought to life by the animation mavens at Titmouse, Inc., and tackles the peaks and problems of puberty through song, satire, and side-splitting humor. On the surface, "Big Mouth" might seem like the joke is nothing more than youngsters talking inappropriately about the birds and the bees, but there's a deep honesty to the way the series explores themes of sex, sexuality, hormones, shame, irrational fears, relationships, and growing up — even if a literal Hormone Monster is used to personify those big feelings.

Nearly seven years after the show first debuted, "Big Mouth" has covered a wide variety of puberty-related topics,...

Karate and Vomit Make ‘Little Manhattan’ a Midnight Movie for Kids — and Basically ‘Sex and the City’ for Boys
Image
On Friday nights, IndieWire After Dark takes a feature-length beat to honor fringe cinema in the streaming age.

First, the spoiler-free pitch for one editor’s midnight movie pick — something weird and wonderful from any age of film that deserves our memorializing.

Then, the spoiler-filled aftermath as experienced by the unwitting editor attacked by this week’s recommendation.

The Pitch: Fall in Love with Love (and New York City)

You never forget your first crush. Life and love grow so complicated as we get older, but those early butterflies, stolen glances, and fleeting interactions are so easily romanticized in the rearview, relics of a bygone innocence and who we used to be. No matter what follows, the first stirrings of a crush are full of promise and excitement — even if you feel a bit like you’re going to explode.

I was on my second or third crush when I...

‘Big Mouth’ Star Nick Kroll Voices 79 Characters in Netflix’s Longest-Running Show. Where’s His Emmy?
Image
Nick Kroll deserves an Emmy. If not for his contribution to the whip-smart writing and flat-out boldness of his long-running, raunchy yet tender, semi-autobiographical Netflix series, Big Mouth, then perhaps there’s a more compelling argument. The actor has been seen on some of the better small-screen comedy programs over the past 15 years and should win the medium’s top prize on sheer volume, as he voices a staggering 79 characters on the beloved adult animation series, which is set to conclude after eight seasons next year.

But don’t ask Kroll to name all 79 character voices he’s created for the show. In fact, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, he explained how Netflix had to do some quick research and fact-check that figure ahead of this year’s Emmy voting, which started this week, now that he is throwing his hat in the ring for the outstanding character voice-over performance award.

Netflix Shares Early Looks at ‘Wallace & Gromit,’ ‘Twilight of the Gods,’ ‘The Twits’ at Annecy
Image
Netflix Animation revealed a string of sneak peeks and new clips of its upcoming projects, including the return of villainous penguin Feathers McGraw in “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,” Wednesday at the Annecy Animation Festival.

“Wallace & Gromit” creator Nick Park was on hand with fellow Aardman director Merlin Crossingham to present a new clip from their upcoming feature “Vengeance Most Fowl.” Four-time Academy Award-winner Park also wrote the story, in which Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. The movie also marks the return of Feathers McGraw, the sinister antagonist who first appeared in Park’s Oscar-winning 1993 short “The Wrong Trousers,” who is back on the loose.

A “Wallace & Gromit” exhibition is featured at Annecy, with select puppets from the new movie.

Season Four Of “Big Mouth” Debuts A Trailer
Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, and Ayo Edebiri in Big Mouth (2017)
If you’re like me, you’re a rather massive fan of the Netflix show Big Mouth. Not only is the raunchy animated comedy show absolutely hilarious, it’s actually one of the more perceptive depictions of puberty ever committed to entertainment. Kudos have to go to Nick Kroll and company for being able to pull this off. Sure, there’s plenty of low art comedy in this show, but it also has plenty of intelligent things to say about going through adolescence and all of the various challenges that it entails. For three seasons, they’ve been pulling this off. Impressive for a dirty cartoon, no? Yesterday, a Trailer for Season Four of the streaming service’s hit show debuted. Now, you can see it here on our site, below… Here is Netflix’s short synopsis for the show’s new season: “There’s a new monster in town.

‘Big Mouth’ Season 4 Trailer: First Look at the Crew Heading to Summer Camp
Image
The cast of “Big Mouth” is going to summer camp, but amongst all the sun and fun there’s a heavy dose of anxiety.

It’s been a little over a month since the conclusion of Season 3 of Nick Kroll’s popular Netflix animated series — and there have been some changes. The crew sees themselves dealing with nerdy camp counselors, one of whom is voiced by everyone’s favorite political commentator, John Oliver.

Relationships have been developed or shattered. The biggest surprise, though, is there’s a new anxiety monster on the block: Tito the anxiety mosquito. The chronically anxious mosquito looks to be following the characters from the woods to the therapist couch, navigating the world of adolescence. And it wouldn’t be “Big Mouth” without the painful realization that the world might be coming to an end…today.

The scrappy Netflix animated series has developed serious clout this year,...
