Nathan's new foe makes Nanny Carrie look like Mother Teresa! We're kind of worried. On the Feb. 15 episode of One Tree Hill, viewers finally found out where Nathan (James Lafferty) is -- sort of. It turns out he's been kidnapped! Also, people in Europe take basketball way too seriously. Apparently, Nathan tried to sign a player who was the "property" of someone else. (It's just a sport. Winning isn't everything, remember?!) Unfortunately, his family and friends back in Tree Hill are still left in the dark. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) tried her best to keep composure, Dan (Paul Johannson) made a list of his enemies, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) scared the mess out of Haley by telling her that posters were being put up and people were searching the woods, and Jamie (Jackson Brundage) shocked us all by calling Dan a liar. Oh, and Lily took her first steps. Meanwhile,...

It's almost time for the final season of "One Tree Hill" to begin (January 11, 8 p.m., be there) and you know what that means... the next month is going to be full of excruciating, teasing, taunting promotion.
(Hey, CW... you can just send us the whole season right now. We won't tell anyone anything. We swear.*)
The very first footage of Season 9 has now hit the web, and it's only available for Facebook fans. The video begins with a voice over courtesy of one Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush). "I grew up in Tree Hill," she says, as we see poignant images of the iconic rivercourt and the house where she was raised. "I spent most of my life here. It's what I wished for."
We later hear her say, "I like Tree Hill like this. Warm. Safe. Loved.... It doesn't mean there haven't been hardships, but I'm here, and here is good.

Joe Manganiello has revealed that he "would love" to return to One Tree Hill. Manganiello previously starred on the show as Owen, a love interest for Brooke (Sophia Bush). Are you crying? We're crying.
Tuesday's Season 8 finale of "One Tree Hill" was not the series finale -- just hours before airtime, The CW officially picked up a 13-episode Season 9. That said, it could have easily served as a satisfying end to the series. Though Mark Schwahn shot several cliffhangers to end the season on in case Season 9 got the green light, he ultimately decided to end with some closure.
The season ender spanned a year - so much time that Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) went from having just learned of her pregnancy to giving birth to twin boys, Davis and Jude. With Davis, Brooke and Julian (Austin Nichols) stuck with the Tree Hill trend of naming their kids after their mothers' maiden names, while Jude's name came from "Hey Jude," which John Lennon wrote for his son, Julian.

The show hasn’t been picked up for the fall 2011 season yet. Do you think it deserves a last-minute renewal?
Many CW viewers breathed a sigh of relief April 26 when the network announced the renewal of five hit series — but the news wasn’t quite as hopeful for One Tree Hill fans, whose favorite show remains very much on the bubble. As a longtime fan myself, I have to say I’d be pretty bummed if these next three episodes also turn out to be the last. I’m not ready to say goodbye to the group of madcap southerners who taught me so much about life. And actually made me care about basketball.
1. The cast wants to do it.

Still no word on ‘Hellcats,’ ‘Nikita,’ or ‘One Tree Hill!’ Do you think they should join this lucky list?
Warm up those DVRs, HollywoodLifers, because most of your favorite guilty pleasures will be back for full new seasons on The CW this fall! The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, America’s Next Top Model and Supernatural will all be staying put, though three fan-favorite series are still in limbo. The fates of newbies Nikita and Hellcats are still up in the air, along with veteran series One Tree Hill, currently in its eighth season.
Of the three yet-to-be-renewed series, One Tree Hill has certainly gotten the most press lately. Despite rumors — and for many people, assumptions — of its impending cancelation, stars Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Austin Nichols, Lisa Goldstein and Robert Buckley have all signed on for a potential ninth season. Bethany Joy Galeotti has officially signed on for a ninth season of One Tree Hill.
If there is a ninth season of One Tree Hill, that is. The perpetual bubble show has yet to be renewed, the fact that Galeotti has reupped her contract does bode well for it.
Sophia Bush also Tweeted Monday that she and co-stars Austin Nichols, Robert Buckley, Lisa Goldstein and Jana Kramer have each inked additional one-year deals.
“The writers have Great plans" for Season 9, Sophia promises.
Meanwhile, the series’ leading man, James Lafferty, has yet to sign back on but a source close to the situation says if Oth gets picked up, he'll be back at least part-time.
Even the departed Chad Michael Murray teased the Twitterverse on Monday.
“Return to Oth? I don’t know. Maybe next season for u guys," he wrote. "I Love that Lucas is missed. Give [series creator] Mark Schwann the credit.

I have six words to sum up the Jan. 25 episode: Dave Navarro, skateboarding dog & condom balloons!
The good, simple people of Tree Hill appear to have completely forgotten the horrific events of the last episode. No mention of Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) shooting Katie, no mention of Brooke (Sophia Bush) almost dying… etc. Instead, we got a pretty hilarious Hangover-inspired episode about Brooke’s bachelorette party. And as the girls scrambled to retrace their steps the morning after, I was reminded why I love each and every character on One Tree Hill.
So here’s what the girls slowly discovered about their night out: Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) got a pair of boots tattooed above her butt, Quinn let Alex (Jana Kramer) pierce her tongue, and everyone threw water-filled condoms at Dave Navarro… though I’m still not totally sure how he came into the picture.
But it wasn’t all montages and martinis.

Nov. 16’s Thanksgiving episode brought out tears, secrets & So Much Jello salad!
I feel like I had a real Thanksgiving tonight. Granted, my family members were replaced by the sexy, emotional creatures of Tree Hill, so there was slightly more drama involved. There was a friendly game of touch football… but it ended in a fist fight between Alex (Jana Kramer) and Mia (Kate Voegele); there was a ridiculous spread of food… but most of it came in the form of alcohol; and there was the long-awaited return of a family member, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten)… but she might also be a murderer! Yup, only slightly more drama than normal.
Jailbird Victoria (Daphne Zuniga) crashed Thanksgiving at the James-Scott household, which put her in the same room as Brooke (Sophia Bush) for the first time since their heated prison confrontation. As you can imagine, the results were… not fantastic. As a matter of fact,...

Along with zombies and vampires, the Oct. 19 episode also featured Jamie (apparently) as the ghost of young Jonathan Lipnicki…
But let’s not beat around the bush: Sharon Lawrence as Julian’s (Austin Nichols) mother, and Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) monster-in-law, belongs on this show. And while I hope she still finds time to make incredibly emotional PSAs about saving polar bears, I also hope she sticks around in Tree Hill for a long, long time. On top giving Brooke someone (other than mother) to butt heads with, Sharon’s Sylvia also finally told that fool Chase (Stephen Colletti) what a bad bartender he is: “Oh, God. That’s bad. That is a bad drink. That is just terrible.”
I also thought the first minutes of the episode was awesome. In a nutshell, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) dreamt that Clay’s (Robert Buckley) psycho stalker Katie came back and turned everyone in Tree Hill into zombies.

The eighth season premiere has the best ending ever. If you haven’t watched, don’t read on because I’m totally going to spoil it for you.
None of my friends believe me, but The CW’s One Tree Hill can be really good. At its best, it’s car crashes and school shootings and psycho murderers on prom night. The Sept. 14 season premiere comes vaguely close to that with a clever mixture of the show’s trademark romantic gobbledigook and the best twist ending ever!
Ready? Ok, so for the entire hour we’re led to believe that Clay (Robert Buckley) only dreamt that he and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) got shot, and it’s very disappointing. But in the last two minutes, they both start bleeding from their bullet wounds and we see that their bodies are definitely still laying in pools of blood at Clay’s house.

“I don’t want to be anything other than what I’ve been trying to be lately. All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind.” These are the lyrics to the theme song of One Tree Hill, and I believe that they embody the spirit of the show. One Tree Hill is full of spoiled, self-centered people who do not care how their actions affect anyone besides themselves, and they spend most of their time complaining about how tough and unfair life is to them. They are overgrown middle-schoolers with credit cards. I have no sympathy for these people, and I cannot understand how this show lasted for seven (now going on eight) seasons.
At the beginning of the seventh season, One Tree Hill has lost leading characters Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton), and the season focuses most of its...

An otherwise so-so season finale was totally saved by the last 10 minutes full of crazy twists!
Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t seen the May 17 season finale of One Tree Hill, Stop Reading! I had the pleasure of live-tweeting the madness for HollywoodLife.com, and I’d still appreciate someone helping me pick my jaw up off the floor. There’s no way this show isn’t going to get picked up for at least half a season in the fall — there’s Way too much story left to tell.
Clay & Quinn get shot!
I knew we hadn’t seen the last of crazy Katie (Amanda Schull!) In the episode’s final minutes, she appeared in Clay (Robert Buckley) and Quinn’s (Shantel VanSanten) bedroom with a gun! Without saying a word she shoots them both in the chest.
View Poll Julian finally proposes to Brooke!

Tonight's episode of One Tree Hill will mark either the season or series finale. The CW network isn't scheduled to announce their upcoming renewals and cancellations until Thursday but we should know the show's fate tonight.
One Tree Hill began as the story of two half-brothers, their relationship, and their romances. Longtime castmembers Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton left the series last year. Many expected the series to quickly fold but some believe it's found a new life creatively. The current cast includes Antwon Tanner, Austin Nichols, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Jackson Brundage, James Lafferty, Lee Norris, Lisa Goldstein, Paul Johansson, Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten, Michael Grubbs, and Sophia Bush.
While it's looking promising that One Tree Hill will return for season eight, the cast and crew weren't taking any chances. They filmed two endings -- one to end the season and one that...

The CW interviewed "One Tree Hill" star, Lisa Goldstein. She plays Millicent Huxtable on the show. She talked about what her character will be doing in season 7. She said Millicent takes over the New York branch for "Clothes over Bros." Her character will be similar to Brooke's character ,in the fact that she will now have an assistant to boss around and things of that nature. She said she was similar to her onscreen character in that she was the biggest mess when she first started on "One Tree Hill," and now that she's been on a TV set for a while, she knows more about what's going on.
