Kate Elizabeth Hallam was born in the countryside town of Buxton Derbyshire in the Peak District.

She was born for the stage, she won the 'Bonniest Baby' competition when she was 3 years old!

Reading Poetry and winning at Poetry festivals Kate then worked on theatre shows 'Babes in the Wood' and 'Red Riding hood'

In 1997 her father Peter formed a band and she joined as a keyboard player and backing vocalist, her brother Chris also joined as lead singer. They were a 6 piece show-band doing 60's-90's covers for 5 years around England.

In 1997 Kate's brother Chris was diagnosed with Leukaemia and needed a Bone-Marrow transplant. Kate and her other brother Dominic were tested to see if either of them were a Bone Marrow Match and it turned out she was a 'Perfect Bone-Marrow' for Chris. Kate went on to do a Bone Marrow Transplant at the age of 14 years which thankfully cured her brother of 28 years of the disease. After receiving A Bravery Award from The House Of Commons she also went on to become Ambassador for The Anthony Nolan Bone-Marrow Trust actively campaigning to raise money for the disease.

Her band CK2 performed a concert for the Doctors and Nurses of the Manchester Royal Infirmary which was an emotional yet wonderful celebration of Chris surviving leukemia and raised a lot of money for leukemia. CK2 also did a concert at The Buxton Opera House for Cancer Charities which raised £17'000 with Jimmy Cricket and Martin Henfield interviewing the band on stage after their performance.

Whilst taking her G.C.S.E exams at 16 she was struck down with Bacterial Meningococcal B strain Meningitis and Septicaemia and almost died. Being no quitter and from her hospital bed, Kate still pushed her career getting chosen out of 700 girls to star on Famous Car Show Topgear as a model. Topgear was her first taste of TV.

She went onto study at Ridge Danyers Drama School where she achieved a B-Tec National Diploma in Performing Arts. Continuing with her charity work for The Anthony Nolan Trust she also went on to be chosen for Miss England and Miss Great Britain Competitions. She won Miss Great Britain Photogenic/Miss England Intercontinental and the Face of Aintree 2004. She was chosen to represent her country in International Pageants too.

After being chosen as Cover girl for Take A Break Magazine after being spotted on stage at Miss England 2002 she featured on the cover 12 times with numerous articles in the magazine too.

In 2004 she went to the races and out of 800 girls was chosen as 'The Most Stylish Race-goer Of Aintree Race-course' 2004 Driving home 1st Prize- A brand New Jaguar X-Type Estate worth £25,000. She was interviewed by Radio 5 Live and lots of Newspapers also Granada Reports and BBC.

Kate was also a former British Grid Girl for Mercedes McClaren.

She also appeared in the Esure Car Insurance Commercials Directed by Michael Winner and worked as assistant and locations manager to Michael for 4 years in London.

Kate has Catwalk Modelled for British and International Designers Including JIKI (Monte Carlo) John Lewis Stored Vivienne Westwood Deepika Govind (India) Wendell Rodricks and the Prestigious Harrogate Bridal Show.

In 2013 she became a Brand Ambassador for Advanced Hair Studios.

In 2014 She Presented at London's Prestigious Roundhouse interviewing Eva Schloss a Holocaust Survivor, various members of parliament and rockers such as Kenny Jones from The Small Faces, Heather Small of M People and Paul Young to name but a few in remembrance of Nelson Mandela.

She presented for Fashion TV Channel Nevanta talking latest Trends Fashion and Beauty and has also been featured in newspaper interviews on Health Fitness and Nutrition.

Kate was invited to do a Ted Talk about her life 'The Road Less Travelled'

In 2014 Kate was the lead actress in British TV commercial Cirro E-Cigarettes.

Kate is extremely passionate about helping those less fortunate than herself especially after her own personal encounters with disease and seeing under-privileged people especially after travelling extensively and working for causes in India.
