“Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss”
Following our Sneak Peek in 2024 of actress Sydney Sweeney promoting the bath product “Body Wash Genie”, the “Euphoria” star has now entered into an agreement with the same company to make the limited-edition soap “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss”. infused with actual droplets of her stinky bathwater, hoping to be as outrageous a stunt as rock band Kiss mixing their blood with ink in 1977, for a Marvel magazine special:

"I honestly think it's a really fun, full-circle moment, because fans always joke about wanting my bath water,” said Sweeney.

"I was like, 'This is just such a cool way to have a conversation with the audience and give them what they want.'

“But then also hopefully encourage them to take care of themselves in a healthy way.

“When we were at the shoot, they had a tub for me. And I actually got in there and I took some soap,...

Sydney Sweeney’s New Soap Collab Will Be Made With “Her Actual Bathwater”
Image
Men like Sydney Sweeney. How much do they like her? Well, men’s personal hygiene company Dr. Squatch is making a new soap with a secret ingredient: Sydney Sweeney’s actual bathwater. For real.

“You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad … so we kept it,” Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus season one) posted to her Instagram account on Thursday. Called “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss,” the bricc (what Dr. Squatch calls its soap bars) is a “very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater,” Sweeney wrote.

Why do this? Well, you know why: because men are gross. So now they can cleanse themselves — well, their skin at least — with saponified oils (of olive, sustainable palm and coconut), shea butter, natural fragrance, Sydney’s bath water, sand, mica, kaolin clay and sea salt.

God knows what else they’ll do with it: Dr. Squatch called Sweeney’s...

Sydney Sweeney Didn’t Like Filming Her S*x Scene in This 62% Rt Horror Movie That’s Streaming on Prime
Image
Starring in HBO’s Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney grabbed the attention of the world with her iconic portrayal as Cassie Howard in the HBO show. What followed was a plethora of Hollywood roles in some iconic movies.

Works like Anyone But You and Immaculate secured a spot for Sweeney to portray serious and romantic roles in Hollywood, as the actress seemed to pick up bigger and better projects. However, not every project was a smooth ride for Sweeney since the actress has had her fair share of terrible experiences while filming s*x scenes.

When Sydney Sweeney had a terrible time shooting bold scenes…

Filming s*x scenes and scenes involving nudity is nothing new for Sydney Sweeney. The actress has often talked about the double standards of Hollywood and how females are treated worse if they agree to appear in these scenes.

Sydney Sweeney Copied This Onlyfans Model to Sell Her Bathwater-Infused Dr. Squatch Soap Bar?
Image
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are bottling the bathwater. That’s not Oscar Wilde; that’s us, watching Sydney Sweeney probably wade into the same tub Belle Delphine turned into a business model back in 2019. First, it was a meme. Then, a joke. Now? It’s literal. The Euphoria star turned Body Wash Genie has just unveiled a limited-edition soap bar made with — wait for it — her actual bathwater. Indeed, this isn’t satire!

Only 5,000 bars will be released, and fans are already lathering up their wallets. While Sweeney claims this all began as playful banter with her fans, it smells suspiciously similar to what Delphine pioneered with her ‘Gamer Girl Bath Water’. Call it marketing, mockery, or modern mythology — but the resemblance is more than skin deep.

Heads up for the extremely online: Sydney Sweeney is selling her bathwater
Image
Sydney Sweeney is going extremely online for her next merch collab.

Gamer girl bathwater? Nah. Now it’s Hollywood girl bathwater–and Sweeney’s the star.

She’s skinny-dipping with Dr. Squatch, the also extremely online soap company that’s made memeable scrubs with major IPs like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Jurassic Park, and also with companies like Trojan, which was behind its recent “Bricc’d Up” bar.

Dr. Squatch is taking a similarly risqué approach with Sweeney, who rose to fame in 2023 thanks largely to her performance in modern Shakespeare movie Anyone but You alongside Glen Powell. (Her strategy of “leaning into it” with the movie’s flirty marketing campaign didn’t hurt either.)

Following in the footsteps of Belle Delphine and Amouranth, Sweeney is selling “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss,” a men’s medium grit soap bar that Dr. Squatch swears is made with her actual bathwater.

You Can Now Buy Madame Web Star Sydney Sweeney's Used Bathwater (In A Bar Of Soap)
Image
Sydney Sweeney easily shook off Madame Web's failings thanks to movies like Anyone But You and Immaculate. However, her take on Julia Cornwall was also a highlight in a movie with few of them.

Beyond Sweeney's brief stint in Sony's Marvel Universe, it's fair to say that the internet is obsessed with her. The blonde bombshell turns heads wherever she goes, and it's been revealed today that the actor has teamed with Dr. Squatch to make a limited-edition soap infused with actual droplets of her bathwater.

Last year, a commercial with Sweeney soaking in a bath for Dr. Squatch went viral, not least because she referred to those watching as "dirty little boys." Now, she and the company are cashing in on the filthiest social media responses to that with this one-of-a-kind bar of soap.

Ana de Armas ‘Hated’ Singing in Ron Howard’s ‘Eden’: ‘I Would Rather Do 100 Stunts’
Image
Ana de Armas prefers to do anything else, even intense stunts, instead of sing onscreen. The actress, who will soon join the “John Wick” franchise with “Ballerina,” said during “Hot Ones” in the below video that any stunt work is better than carrying a tune — something she had to do for Ron Howard’s survival film “Eden.”

“I hated it,” de Armas said. “I remember when I talked to [director] Ron. And I was like ‘Ron, I really think I should lip sync. This is not for me.’ And he just didn’t want to hear it. He was like ‘no, you’re singing. You’re singing. If you do it bad, it’s good for the character.’ And I’m like ‘yeah but people don’t know that.'”

De Armas continued, “I just couldn’t convince him to let me lip sync so I had to learn the song.

Is Apple TV+’s Weekly Release Schedule Hurting Their Viewership?
Image
Apple TV+ is known far and wide for its original and high-quality content, carving a niche for itself in the streaming landscape. Its commitment to a weekly release schedule reminiscent of traditional TV has sparked a lot of discussion amongst industry experts as well as viewers.

While some may argue that it holds off the gratification of watching a show, by following weekly releases, some may say that it makes the one episode worth watching, and the entire week can be spent dissecting it and anticipating the next. Let’s have a look at some of the pros and cons of this model and whether we think there is a need for any sort of change to this regimen.

‘Good Fortune’ Trailer: Keanu Reeves Is An Angel Meddling In Earthly Affairs In Aziz Ansari’s Directorial Comedy Co-Starring Ansari & Seth Rogen
Image
Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for Good Fortune, its new high-concept comedy starring Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, and Aziz Ansari, which marks the feature debut of the latter, as writer-director.

Slated for release in theaters on October 17, Good Fortune introduces Reeves as Gabriel, a well-meaning but rather inept angel who decides to intervene in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Rogen).

When the trailer opens, Gabriel is on a rooftop overlooking Los Angeles, speaking with another angel named Martha (Sandra Oh).

“Martha, is there any way I can have more meaningful duties?” Gabriel asks. “I want to guide people; I want to change their lives.”

Martha tells him that “to save a lost soul, you have to find a lost soul.” But for Gabriel, this doesn’t take long. He discovers one in Ansari’s character, while standing one night atop an L.

Madame Web's Canceled Popcorn Buckets Reveal Major Cut Marvel Connections
Image
Second only to "Morbius" in the dreaded "horrible movies about characters that are only relevant because they have connections to Spider-Man" category, "Madame Web" seemed like one of the final films of the superhero era when it arrived in 2024. Deeply disliked by critics and only barely tolerated by viewers, the origin story of Dakota Johnson's titular seer figure (plus a couple of spider-heroes played by Sydney Sweeney and Isabela Merced), "Madame Web" initially seemed to struggle with passing the $100 million box office milestone. While it did ultimately end up barely clearing that hurdle, its production budget of $80 million means that it was a solid flop -- both commercially and critically.

All of this almost certainly contributed to the apparent death of Sony's Spider-Man Universe (Ssu), which has been eerily silent since "Kraven the Hunter" dropped (and flopped) in 2024. With Sony's superhero franchise taking hit after hit, it's no...

Could Sydney Sweeney turn the tables for Apple TV+? The network has several hit shows to credit, such as Ted Lasso, Severance, Your Friends & Neighbors, and The Studio. However, the movie slate for the network doesn’t seem to be doing as good. After the recent release of Fountain of Youth, things seemed to go downhill.

With a 36% critic score and 44% audience score, the movie is described as a lackluster attempt at copying Indiana Jones. It has been criticised for its lack of originality and its derivative plot. Now, Apple TV+’s only hope for redemption is the Sydney Sweeney starrer Echo Valley. This thriller movie also stars Julianne Moore and is a promising prospect for turning the tables for Apple TV+ movies.

15 Movies You Didn't Know Are Based On William Shakespeare Plays
Image
Think The Bard is boring? If you're one of the millions forced to slog your way through William Shakespeare's plays during high school, you may think his language is too flowery, his style is too dated (despite the fact he wrote in Modern English), and his stories are out-of-touch with our day-to-day lives. Respectfully, dear reader, you are wrong. We bet you have seen and loved a Shakespeare story without even realizing it, as his plays have inspired numerous movies.

We're not talking word-for-word adaptations, like 2015's "Macbeth" starring Michael Fassbender; or even movies that use more...shall we say... "creative license," like Joel Coen's "The Tragedy of Macbeth", Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet," or your average theatre director's revisionist steampunk-in-space version of "Cymbeline."

No, Shakespeare has inspired not just adaptations, but inspirations. "Original" movies spanning a host of genres that borrow heavily from The Bard. How heavily?...

'Madame Web's MCU Crossover Plans Revealed in New Unreleased Popcorn Bucket
Image
Madame Web, the black sheep of Sony's Spider-Man villains universe, was meant to introduce a new group of web-crawlers to fight crime in New York, alongside Peter Parker (Tom Holland). Instead, it gave fans an endless wave of memes, quotable lines, and a future so-bad-it's-good cult classic. The film technically wasn't a part of the wider MCU, thanks to the complicated rights deal between Marvel Studios and Sony. But a scrapped popcorn bucket for the film has revealed how closely the two cinematic universes are linked.

The popcorn bucket was revealed on the aptly named subreddit, r/popcornbuckets. The person posting the photos claims to be a former employee of a movie theater, and said that the theater was sent the buckets and cups, before being told to send them back by the studio. Unlike the crazy popcorn buckets we see now, Madame Web's unreleased one is a standard shape,...

Sony’s Canceled Plan For Tom Holland: Dakota Johnson Was Supposed to Save a Young Peter Parker in Madame Web
Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the biggest comic book-based film franchises of all time. Even though some films have missed the mark, the franchise remains widely enjoyed by fans and critics alike.

Sony, on the other hand, has been trying to kickstart its own Spider-Man Universe, given that it has rights to the character and all characters related to it. One of the biggest failures of Ssu, which sealed the deal for its demise, was the Dakota Johnson-starrer Madame Web. A critical and commercial failure, Sony’s original idea for the film looked a lot different than the final product, which might have saved the film.

Madame Web Star Sydney Sweeney Addresses The Marvel FIlm's Disappointing Reception: "I Had A Really Fun Time, So That Is All That Matters To Me."
Image
Over a year after the film's huge box-office failure, Madame Web star Sydney Sweeney revealed her honest take on the film flopping. In addition to Sweeney, the film starred Dakota Johnson, Isabela Merced, Celeste O'Connor, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, and Tahar Rahim. Boasting an abysmal 11% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a worldwide gross of $100 million per Box Office Mojo, Madame Web is widely considered a total failure. It also marked yet another unsuccessful attempt by Sony to emulate the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In a recent interview, Sweeney unpacked her perspective on Madame Web's poor reception:

I mean, I had a really fun time, so that is all that matters to me. I think that if you are enjoying what you do, it doesn’t really matter what the outcome is, on a box-office level. Of course, you want the film to be celebrated and loved and successful,...

Madame Web Unused Promo Material Features Major MCU References To Thanos, Hulk, Carol Danvers, And More
Image
We have heard numerous reports about Sony Pictures' original plans for Madame Web, which - if rumors are to be believed - was going to be set in the same universe as The Amazing Spider-Man at one point before the decision was made to connect the movie to the Ssu (Sony's Spider-Man Universe).

Though it's been said that Tom Holland's take on Peter Parker was going to appear (see Daniel Richtman's post below), Madame Web ultimately turned out to be more of a standalone story with only tenuous ties to the wider Ssu. However, it seems the studio was determined to push a connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the early marketing stages.

Some photos of popcorn buckets and drink holders that were sent out to various theater chains before being recalled have been shared online, and the unused promo art takes the form of Daily...

Sweeney Calls “Euphoria” Season 3 ‘Unhinged’ as Cameras Roll
Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney’s claim that “Euphoria” season three will be “unhinged” has reignited debate around a series that has not aired new episodes since February 2022. In an interview cited by Empire, the actor said she and creator Sam Levinson kept pushing Cassie Howard “crazier,” calling the fresh scripts the wildest work they have shared so far.

Production has finally resumed in Los Angeles after repeated delays linked to the 2023 labour strikes, the death of cast member Angus Cloud and scheduling conflicts for its high-profile ensemble. Filming began in early February, according to an updated timeline published by Elle, yet Warner Bros. Discovery now forecasts a 2026 premiere instead of the earlier 2025 slot, giving the creative team extra room to retool the eight-episode run.

Colman Domingo, who plays Rue’s sponsor Ali, recently defended the pace, explaining that Levinson is continuing to rewrite in response to real-world events and existential questions the story hopes to address.

How Sydney Sweeney Feels About Marvel's Madame Web Flopping At The Box Office
Image
Hey, remember "Madame Web?" It's fine if you don't, but I'll quickly refresh your memory. Just as Sony's weird little cinematic universe of sidelined "Spider-Man" characters started petering out in earnest (after "Morbius" but before "Kraven the Hunter," to give you a sense of the timeline), S.J. Clarkson's "Madame Web" hit theaters on Valentine's Day 2024 and deeply underwhelmed audiences in the process. Not only was it critically panned, but it also absolutely bombed at the box office, throwing yet another nail into the coffin of what was once called "Sony's Spider-Man Universe" or the Ssu.

The film stars Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, and Isabela Merced, and the three of them have all moved onto greener pastures (by which I mean critically or even commercially successful projects). So, what does Sweeney think about the movie that now sits comfortably in her filmography right between the massively successful romantic comedy...

“God forbid if he is injured or killed”: Tom Cruise’s Stunts Can Cost Over $4 Million in Insurance for a Movie Like Mi 8
Image
For Tom Cruise, the sky is the limit, literally!! Especially when he’s hanging off helicopters, scaling skyscrapers, or riding a motorbike off a cliff. But while fans marvel at his wild stunts in Mission: Impossible films, insurance companies watch in horror.

For movies like Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning, just keeping Cruise covered becomes a serious (and expensive) job. One wrong move could shut down the whole production. So while Cruise is living his action-hero dream, the people insuring him are probably holding their breath the whole time. Here is how much his stunts can cost in insurance!!

Why insurance companies are losing sleep over Tom Cruise!

Tom Cruise’s daredevil stunts have become a signature part of the franchise and a huge draw for moviegoers. But behind the scenes, they’re a major financial juggling act.
