Set for a release on March 1st, Logan is the latest and last(?) film in the standalone Wolverine movies. Set in the near future, Logan sees an aging Wolverine and Professor X working together to protect a young female clone of Wolverine – aka X-23 from the Marvel comic of the same name – from an evil organization led by Nathanial Essex.
Fox have released a second “clip” from the film, this one seemingly found-footage of X-23 undergoing a medical procedure to give her those Wolverine-esque claws…
Set in the future of 2024, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is destroying the world leaving it to destruction, with Logan’s healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier’s Alzheimer’s forcing him to forget. As you've already seen, Hugh Jackman plays a very different version of Wolverine in Logan than we've seen before. This is definitely the most hardened, gritty, and badass version of the hero yet. In a recent interview with Empire, Jackman and director James Mangold talk about the film and their approach to bringing this older version of Wolverine to the big screen. First Jackman explained how a tip from actor Jim Broadbent helped him remember to be in pain while playing Logan.
“When he was playing older, [Broadbent] would tape a little stone to his heel. I would have that, just to remind myself of a limp. [Logan's] body hurts. His joints hurt. His heart hurts. Psychologically, he’s damaged. What’s the collateral damage of being Wolverine for all those years?”
Mangold went on to talk about his original Logan pitch to the studio describing it as Little Miss Sunshine meets Wolverine.

"She's like you. Very much like you." 20th Century Fox has unveiled a final, incredible full-length trailer for James Mangold's Logan, the final Wolverine movie starring Hugh Jackman as the mutant superhero. Logan is set in 2024 on the Mexican border, following an aging Wolverine and Professor X, played again by Patrick Stewart, as they struggle with mental issues. Also starring Boyd Holbrook, Doris Morgado, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant and Eriq La Salle, along with Dafne Keen as the young mutant known as X-23. This is Jackman's 9th time playing Wolverine, commonly known as Logan though his original name is James Howlett. This looks seriously badass and gritty and awesome and emotional. I'm excited to catch the film at its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival next month. Until then, fire this up. Here's the final official trailer (+ poster) for James Mangold's Logan, direct from Fox's YouTube: And...

And while it was less successful and entertaining than Taken, From Paris With Love was still good fun.
So in theory then, given Travolta is – or at least was – capable of convincingly taking part in a action movie I had reasonable expectations for his latest film I Am Wrath. And then there’s the crew involved: directed by Chuck Russell whose past works include Eraser, The Mask, and The Blob; and starring Rebecca De Mornay and Christopher Meloni, I honestly thought...
