Karat has come up with some creative perks for its cardholders. The fintech company, founded in 2020 by Eric Wei and Will Kim, celebrated its creator economy roots by placing some prominent partners on billboards across the United States.
Now, Karat has come up with a new way to support its high-profile clientele. The Karat Podcast, available on Instagram, YouTube, and the company’s website, is an intimate space where Wei encourages guest creators to get deep.
There are a lot of creator interviews out there, but The Karat Podcast attempts to differentiate itself through its depth of conversation and breadth of interesting guests. The format is inspired by the 36 Questions to Fall in Love, a list of questions that ask about wants, needs, desires, memories, and more.
The 36 Questions have provided rich answers thus far. Inaugural Karat Podcast guest Nas Daily credited Wei with a succinct explanation of his marriage.

New York, May 11: A 14-year-old boy from Indiana, who was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at the age of 2, has an Iq of 170, which is higher than Einstein's, and he is now on the road to winning a Nobel Prize.
As a child, doctors told Jacob Barnett's parents that their son would probably never even know how to tie his shoes.
But the 14-year-old prodigy has given TedX talks and is working toward a master's degree in quantum physics.
His mother Kristine let Jacob be himself - and helped him study the world with wide-eyed wonder instead of focusing on a list of things that he was unable to do.
Jacob spent years.
