Taylor Swift won big at the American Music Awards 2022 taking home six awards, including Artist of the Year.

“In the past few years, I have released more music than I did in the entire decade preceding that,” she said during her acceptance speech. “I really feel that’s down to the fact that you, the fans, made it clear that you wanted to hear lots of music that I would make — you encouraged me.”

Swift said that the more music she put out the happier she felt and thanked the fans for her happiness as they were the motivators.

Victoria Arlen is an Espn personality and former Paralympian swimmer and who, at age 11, was diagnosed with a neurological condition and an autoimmune disease, which affected her spinal cord and left her in a vegetative state for four years. Arlen slowly regained the ability to speak, eat, walk, and move and now is competing on season 25 of Dancing with the Stars — and is blogging about her experience on the ABC reality show exclusively for People. Immediately after news broke that Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington was found dead from apparent suicide by hanging at age 41 on Thursday, friends, fans and celebrities hopped on social media to pay tribute to the beloved entertainer.

Jimmy Kimmel was one of the first to send his condolences via Twitter.

"Chester was one of the kindest men I've had on my show," the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host wrote. "My heart breaks for his family and friends. He will be missed terribly."

"No words," a tweet from Imagine Dragons' official Twitter page read. "So heartbroken. Rip Chester Bennington."

Kerry Washington headed back to her hometown to receive a major honor!

The Scandal star was celebrated at the inaugural Bronx Children’s Museum Gala in the Bronx, New York on Tuesday. Glee lost me when it veered further and further away from its core concepts and refused to take its eyes off their initial stars and their forays into a magical version of New York City. I avoided the final season and from the recaps, it appears to have gone into gonzo land with little effort to ground the show in any sense of reality. Glee is, above all, a completely unique pop artifact. When it burst onto the television and music scenes in 2009, it seemed like a truly terrible idea. Television musicals had been attempted before, of course, but never successfully, and it seemed as though Glee was just riding the waves of successful Disney Channel products like High School Musical. This was a show about teenagers in a high school singing and dancing, after all. To say that the show could have been a colossal disaster is an understatement, and it certainly doesn’t describe what Glee was and what it became. It also doesn’t make sense to call Glee a tremendous success, as it would have been easy to label it following its first and maybe even its second season. From there, the show dovetailed and more than occasionally became a parody of its earlier success. Make no mistake though, when Glee was succeeding,...

Glee wrapped its six-season run Friday night with a two-hour finale that evoked the best of the show's early days.

Twelve songs – ranging from the saccharine to the sublime – figured into the night's two episodes, "2009" and "Dreams Come True." Some provided character insight, some tugged at the heartstrings, and some were pure expressions of joy.

While the show was creatively as good as its been in a long time during its closing installment, some songs succeeded more than others. Below, our take on how each tune fared.

Over its six seasons, Glee has consistently proven that it can stick a landing, and the series finale was the absolute epitome of the scrappy musical dramedy's ability to obliterate the memory of the bumpy road behind with one revelatory moment of heart-pumping, tear-jerking, can't-stop-yourself-from-smiling, singing-and-dancing glory.

The series's two-hour finale appropriately ended with One Republic's anthemic feel-good tune "I Lived." Indeed, the show "did it all." It was, for better or (often) worse just as messy and ridiculous as life – but, in its best moments, also as uplifting and powerful.

Blake paired Allison Bray and Taylor Brashears in the hopes of narrowing down his country artists. Allison came into rehearsals with Dixie Chicks’ “Sin Wagon” wearing six-inch heels, which Taylor Swift thought were hindering her performance. After taking her shoes off, per Swift’s request, Allison was able to let loose onstage.

Taylor went for a different tone, choosing “Landslide,” hoping to show off a softer side to her voice. Taylor struggled with some notes during rehearsals, and Swift encouraged her to really connect to one person in the audience to sing to.

Gwen Stefani was impressed with Allison’s stage presence, but was blown away by Taylor’s intricate vocals.

It was the best of mentors, it was the worst of injustices for The Voice‘s final set of Season 7 Knockout Rounds.

On one hand: Can we get a “hip-hip hurrah!” to celebrate the keen insight and serious commitment displayed by megastar Taylor Swift as the Knockouts mentor for all four teams? You might want to shake, shake, shake the sound of her latest, crazy-ubiquitous hit single from your eardrums, but you’ve got to admit a future Voice cycle anchored by her and Pharrell Williams might be the only way Blake Shelton will ever get to take a season off.

Outraged, the other villains of Disney remade "Counting Stars" as "Counting Scars" – and became a viral hit on YouTube.

Tonight's elimination/performances show, kicked off with the remaining contestants doing a group contemporary performance choreographed by Mandy Moore to the song “Take Me To The River” by Annie Lennox. From there, host Kat Deeley, introduced the judges. Misty Copeland was a guest judge once again.
