Ted Danson's daughter will be joining her dad on "CSI."
According to the Hollywood Gossip, CBS announced last week that the veteran actor's daughter Kate will be making a guest appearance on the hit series next month.
Kate Danson, who will be sharing the small screen with her famous father for the first time, will be playing an attorney on the April 3 installment of the show.
TV Guide reports that the Dansons will likely be forced to "square off" during the episode.
"I play a lawyer who knows she's in the right and the CSI team have done something wrong," Kate Danson told WENN. "So I come pretty hard at my dad and dig into him, which was a lot of fun to play."
The actress added that she hopes her character will be a "recurring" one.
"CSI" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Et on CBS.
