The episode is titled “Chucky Actually,” and the images are loaded with Santa hats, Christmas trees, and other festive sights, bringing the main characters together for a Christmas dinner while also reminding that some of the other characters aren’t fortunate enough to be spending the holidays with such merriment. The wrestling program WWE Raw airs on the USA Network and so does the Chucky TV series (which also airs on Syfy), so it makes sense that wrestler Liv Morgan wore a Chucky-inspired outfit in the ring as a bit of cross-promotion during an episode of Raw last year. The second season of Don Mancini’s “Chucky” kicked off with a transitional episode that reintroduced Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), then shipped them off to Catholic school. The second episode, “The Sinners Are Much More Fun,” continues their attempts to assimilate into their new surroundings while planting the seeds of revenge for two characters.

But first, the episode starts with Tiffany Valentine’s return (Jennifer Tilly), living in decadence with her pretty-in-pink captive, Nica (Fiona Dourif). Tiffany finally has the life and love she always wanted, save for two pesky little problems: Nica is wanted for murder and just so happens to be sharing a body with former flame Charles Lee Ray.

And Chucky wants his revenge.

It's been about a year since we last caught up with our favorite sociopathic serial killer trapped in the body of a doll, but "Chucky" is back for season 2 and Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) is wasting no time continuing to ruin the lives of Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), his boyfriend Devon Evans (Björgvin Arnarson), their friend Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and anyone else who gets in his way. Season 1 saw Chucky and his partner-in-crime, Jennifer Tilly (Jennifer Tilly), unleash a reign of terror across Hackensack, New Jersey that included a mansion fire, plenty of stabbings, murders framed as suicides, a movie theater massacre, and the demonic possession of 70+ Chucky dolls, and left Jake and Devon both orphaned.

Plot: A year after seemingly defeating their nemesis Chucky, “3 Amigos” Jake, Devon, and Lexy begin receiving mysterious, threatening calls from an all-too-familiar-sounding enemy.

Review: After years of mediocre sequels and a poorly received remake, Don Mancini’s Child’s Play franchise moved to the small screen last year with Chucky. A fun, over-the-top season that blended gory kills with some origin for Charles Lee Ray, Chucky was a cross-network hit that gained a dedicated following thanks to simultaneous airings on both USA and SyFy as well as the well-received return of Brad Dourif as the possessed Good Guy doll. With appearances from characters from throughout the franchise, Chucky ended its first season with a bang and set up the second to be even bigger and more deadly. Having seen the first two episodes, Chucky’s second season continues the style and humor of last year’s run while changing up the setting to keep things fresh.

This first full week of October is a huge week for new horror, with 13 brand new horror movies arriving in theaters and on streaming. And the small screen is loaded with fresh horror, too.

“Chucky” is back and just in time for Halloween! Season two picks up a year after the inaugural season’s events, ensuring that peace was short-lived for its young protagonists. The season premiere, “Halloween II,” evokes the Halloween spirit with its holiday setting and infectious callbacks to other slashers. That energy helps in getting reacquainted with the series’ characters as they transition into the next chapter.

Previously on fucking “Chucky,” Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) survived a blood bath in the town’s local cinema. Jake succeeded in destroying the iteration of the killer doll that tormented him all season, while franchise stalwart Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) skipped town in a truck full of possessed Good Guy dolls. Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) and Chucky (Brad Dourif) have amassed a Good Guy doll army, though, and refuse to have their plans derailed without a body count.

The trailers for Chucky season 2 have made it clear that a Catholic boarding school is a major location in the upcoming season, which is set to start airing on Syfy and USA Network on October 5th. The poster, which can be seen at the bottom of this article, promises that Chucky is going to raise “holy hell”. The titular character of Syfy and the USA Network’s Chucky is ready to absolve you of your sins. In four colorfully done promotional images, the main cast of the show’s second season are each sitting behind the doors of a confessional box, unknowingly in for the shock of their lives. With purple, blue, orange, and red lights shining behind them, we see Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon Evans (Björgvin Arnarson), Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Father Bryce (Devon Sawa) with uneasy looks on their faces as the killer doll stands on the other side of the booth with murder in his eyes and a knife in his hand.

This brand new “Chucky” Season 2 trailer brings the hit series into a whole new setting, unleashing “holy hell” and bringing back a handful of fan-favorite legacy characters.

In the upcoming “Chucky” Season 2, Lachlan Watson (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) will be playing returning character Glen/Glenda, Bloody Disgusting recently learned.

Production on Season 2 of “Chucky” is underway, TheWrap can exclusively reveal.

Brad Dourif, who’s provided the voice of the homicidal doll for the last 35 years, returns along with Season 1 castmembers Zackary Arthur as Jack Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle and Barbara Alyn Woods as Mayor Michelle Cross.

The return of Jennifer Tilly, who voices Tiffany Valentine, was announced last month.

“Chucky” reached 11.6 million viewers in its first season across all platforms. The Season 1 finale aired Nov. 30.

The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe.

Season 2 will launch on USA and Syfy this fall.

Chucky may be terrorizing a brand new generation of clueless teens on TV, but he’s also freaking them out when the cameras stop rolling.

“It was so creepy,” Alyvia Alyn Lind (who plays head bully Lexy Cross) tells TVLine. “They had a room just for doll parts, and there’d be like 10 different Chuckys sitting there, just staring at you, and you’d be like, ‘Oh that’s… I can’t!'”

If you asked me to name my favorite horror film franchise, I wouldn’t cite the usual suspects. My go-to slasher is a pint-sized ginger-haired terror in coveralls whose Good Guy exterior hides a killer underneath. Yep, Don Mancini’s “Child’s Play” series has terrified me, dazzled me, and given me many an opportunity to champion its progressive disability politics. So a series based around Chucky navigating Generation Alpha was always going to be my personal catnip, but thankfully it delivers.

Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) has had a rough go of things. After the death of his mother, Jake’s father, Lucas (Devon Sawa), spends his days drinking and berating Jake for being gay and a loner. Jake wants to be an artist and his recent sculptures have focused on dolls, so when he spies everyone’s favorite possessed plastic creature at a yard sale, it gives Jake the opportunity to complete his latest piece.

Chucky will be back to doing what he does best in October as revealed in an all-new Chucky trailer from Syfy. Straight out of Comic-Con@Home on Sunday, the network released the full trailer for the anticipated horror series that will bring back the original Chucky for much more murder and mayhem.
