Biography

Pedro Carvalho was born in 1985 in a small City in Portugal named Guarda. As a child he moved to another city call Fundão, where he grew up and found his passion for Acting. When he was 18 years old, he moved to Lisboa to study acting in a Professional Acting school called ACT. He Also took some courses and workshops in Corazza in Madrid. He speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese and English. He also studied Architecture but acting was his biggest passion. He pursued this passion by taking courses in the following: Voice, fight scene training, improvisation acting, dance and many others. He is a well-rounded Actor as a result of all his training and experience. In 2007 he signed a contract with TVI Television - considered the channel with the highest number of viewers throughout Portugal. He has work on more than 13 projects for TVI including telenovelas and series. His highlights were the telenovela 'Remédio Santo' where he stars as one of a main character; 'O Beijo do Escorpião' and 'Ouro Verde'. In Portugal, Pedro also performed in the Theater, took on movie roles, did voice-overs for animations and many commercials. In 2013 and 2014 he won 2 awards for Best TV Actor for his role in 'Remédio Santo' which was also nominated for an International Emmy Award. In 2016 he won the 'Portuguese and Brazilian International award' in New York for his role in 'O Beijo do Escorpião'. In 2015 he was invited to Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, to play a starring role on the telenovela 'Escrava Mãe' which is based in 1830's, TV Record. As a result of his excellent performance in 'Escrava Mãe' he was nominated for an award for Best New Actor in 'Premio Extra Globo de Televisão'. In 2017 he started to play roles for Tv Globo Telenovelas, such as 'O Outro Lado do Paraíso' and 'A Dona do Pedaço". At the moment he is between Brazil and Portugal working on new projects.
