During a TV interview this week, attorney Gloria Allred said the scope of Harvey Weinstein’s Los Angeles trial will widen to allow more women to take the stand than in New York.
“You’re going to see more women who are going to be testifying in that L.A. case,” Allred said on “The View.” “I think Mr. Weinstein is in a world of trouble, and this is not going to end for a while.”
Allred represents Lauren Young, a model who testified as a “prior bad acts” witness in New York, telling the jury that Weinstein grabbed her breasts and masturbated in a Beverly Hills hotel bathroom in 2013.
Assuming the Los Angeles case goes to trial, she will have to testify again. On Jan. 6, the L.A. District Attorney filed four charges against Weinstein for rape and sexual assault, based on the allegations of Young and of an...

While Apple TV Plus’ marquee series “The Morning Show” is a fictional drama about morning shows boasting two of Hollywood’s biggest names, Monday night’s premiere’s real headliners were New York City’s real-life morning show stars.
The red carpet was an embarrassment of star riches, as news stars walked the massive award show-scale carpet at Lincoln Center alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who produce and star in Apple’s series as TV broadcasters.
Brian Stelter, whose book “Top of the Morning,” influenced the Apple series, was joined by his wife, NY1’s traffic reporter Jamie Stelter, and his CNN cohorts, including Don Lemon, Alisyn Camerota, Poppy Harlow and Hln’s Robin Meade. Rosanna Scotto and Lori Stokes pulled double duty, showing up both as guests and as reporters, interviewing “The Morning Show” team for “Good Day New York.”

It's been 15 years since Mean Girls debuted, but would the stars ever do a sequel? Lacey Chabert gave her take during Thursday's episode of Fox 5's Good Day New York. "I don't know. I wish I had an answer for you," the actress told anchors Rosanna Scotto and Lori Stokes. Even after Scotto asked if the Gretchen Wieners star could help move the idea along, Chabert didn't seem hopeful. "I feel like you need to start a petition," she replied. Although, she said she would "of course" revisit the classic character if given the chance. "Gretchen is one of my most favorite characters I've ever had the opportunity to play, and I...
