Ahmad Givens has met with his doctors and will try to fight his debilitating disease, a new report claims. Read on for more details on this tragic story.
Ahmad Givens, better known as Real from Vh1 reality television, isn’t giving up after finding out he has stage IV colon cancer — he will start the long grueling process of chemotherapy to try to save his life.
Real Will Start Chemotherapy
The reality TV star met with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday to discuss their options, Real’s rep told TMZ. Reportedly, the doctors advised him to begin oral chemotherapy — which is taken in the form of a pill rather than an IV — immediately, and Real obliged. The chemotherapy process will allegedly take over two years to complete.
Real’s rep also reiterated that the Givens family has set up an online fundraising page to help with the medical bills.

I haven't been following this season of VH1's reality show "Real Chance of Love" as closely as the previous season, yet I've seen enough to know who the ladies are this time around and some of the more important events that have taken place. One of those events is which two ladies ended up winning the hearts of Real (Ahmad Givens) and Chance (Kamal Givens). The two were former contestants on the reality show "I Love New York" and apparently made a big enough impression to get their own television series, which shockingly, has done surprisingly well. In any case, we've got your winner...or should I say 'winners' for "Real Chance of Love: Back in the Saddle". But don't get your hopes up. Of course the relationships aren't going to last. How else will the two brothers return for a third season?
