It’s been almost a year to the day since we lost David Bowie, but the rock icon and beloved creative force is still foremost in the minds of those who knew and loved him best. As Billboard reports, on Sunday evening, some of those people — including fans, friends and even former bandmates — gathered together to celebrate what would have been Bowie’s seventieth birthday for a three-hour charity concert at London’s Brixton Academy. It was an appropriately rocking and raucous event.
The show was hosted by actor (and close Bowie pal) Gary Oldman, who took the stage not only to emcee the event, but to rock out to a few of Bowie’s classics, including “Sorrow” and “The Man Who Sold the World.”

We pay tribute to Brian Clemens, a screenwriter and producer whose work lit up 1970s cult TV and beyond...
Brian Clemens, who died earlier this week aged 83, was a highly respected screenwriter and producer both for TV and Film. He will chiefly be remembered for his work on The Avengers, The New Avengers and The Professionals but his credits were numerous and encapsulated a real golden age of cult, escapist television from the 1950s onwards.
Clemens was born in Croydon in July 1931. He spent his National Service as a Weapons Training Instructor. After spending time as a copywriter, he established himself as a scriptwriter - sometimes using the pseudonym "Tony O'Grady" - O'Grady being his mother's maiden name. He received his first commission from the BBC at the age of 24 - a thriller called Valid For Single Journey Only. He went on to write for many of the big TV...

I realize that most of you probably don’t have a deerstalker cap. So go get a couple of baseball caps. Wear one brim facing forward and the other brim facing backwards. You need the right visual. Because it’s time to look for the clues and solve a crime by matching wits with Inspector Danger.
Inspector Danger’s Crime Quiz is a comic strip produced by Werner Wejp-Olsen. In it the good inspector is presented with a weekly mystery to solve. Inspector Danger and his witless assistant Alfie – a foil who is so unobservant and dim that he makes the Nigel Bruce Watson look a positive luminary – investigate the crime. The strip provides you with all the clues you need to solve the crime before the Inspector. The Inspector solves the crime and his solution is printed upside down at the bottom of the strip. Meanwhile, Alfie stands around,...

There’s definitely a nostalgic scent in the air these days, and the cast of “Ghostbusters” came back together for a 30th Anniversary photo shoot.
Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver are all featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue, all done up in their ghost-fighting getups.
Of his costar Murray, Mr. Hudson told the magazine that he learned a lot about interacting with the locals in New York City during the shoot.
"He just sort of embraced it and, you know, all the years after I—it's how I relate to fans. I was watching how he just—they loved him. And he always gave back. And I was always really impressed with that."
As for why they haven’t made another movie together, Bill declared, "I say the money's not right! It's really hard to recreate something that was so beautiful, so wonderful.

Miley Cyrus' new video for "Real and True" debuted just before Sunday's (Nov. 10) 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards. Now, watch the video here in order to see Miley as a nearly-naked space creature singing her love for Mr. Hudson and Future.
The video tells the story of a couple of astronauts (Mr. Hudson and Future) who find a hot, female creature (Cyrus) lying under the dust of an alien planet. They use some sort of futuristic technology to heal alien Miley to her pristine, silvery condition.
Alien Miley thanks the spacemen by singing and dancing with them before the guys leave her alone on the dusty surface, saying goodbye.

It's not clear from the video whether alien Miley wanted to stay or was dumped by her new astronaut friends. The message is much happier if you think she wanted to hang out in the dust.

Miley Cyrus debuted her new video for "Real & True" just before the broadcast of the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 10). The astronaut-themed video featuring Future and Mr. Hudson turned out to be a bit different from Cyrus' earlier productions.
Click here to watch the "Real & True" video at MTV.
Unlike in her earlier -- and award-winning -- video, "Wrecking Ball," Miley is well-dressed throughout much of this video. Sure, there's some skintight body suits and body paint. That's not a shock. This is especially true, because Cyrus seems to be some sort of alien discovered lying under the dust of an alien world.
It's interesting that there aren't many similarities to "Wrecking Ball" -- other than Miley being sexy. Also, there's some similarity in the lighting and colors. Like in the earlier video, a major highlight is Cyrus' blue eyes.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the upcoming music video for "Real and True" features Miley fully clothed at the beginning of the video, but will once again get a chance to strip down as she wears nothing but sparkly body paint.
The video is slated to premiere on MTV Monday (November 11). Stay linked with GossipCenter for more info on Future's "Real and True"!

Miley Cyrus is everywhere, y'all! The Bangerz beauty accompanies Future, a rapper who happens to be Ciara's fiancé, on his new song "Real and True." In the track, released Tuesday, Nov. 5, Miley sings—rather than showcasing her own rapping skills—and ties together Future's rapping and Mr. Hudson's vocals. (Mr. Hudson collaborates with big name artists frequently—including Jay Z. It's his singing voice featured on Hov's track "Young Forever.") "Real and True" is a bona fide love song with a Miley-sung refrain of, "When the sun dies and the stars fade from view/ Our love will remain real and true/ Through the distance and cold depths of space/...

The pop star delivers another risque performance, this time with rapper Future.
Miley Cyrus has made no secret of the fact that she doesn't like wearing clothes, but she is willing to cover herself in silver body paint.
The pop star sports little more than a metallic sheen in the new video for rapper Future's single "Real and True."
Photos: Miley Cyrus' Most Controversial Moments
Although pictures of their collaboration surfaced online last month, the full video debuted Sunday night on MTV.com, shortly after Cyrus made headlines for smoking what appeared to be a joint at MTV's Europe Music Awards.
In the space-themed video, Future and Mr. Hudson, who also sings on the track, stumble upon an injured Cyrus wearing a space suit on a desolate planet. She's later shown lying horizontally on some sort of metal device, inside what appears to be a spaceship, as Future observes her behind a glass wall.

Turns out winter might actually be pretty cruel for fans of Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music family of artists. Common says "Cruel Winter," the follow-up to last year's "Cruel Summer" compilation, is nothing but a rumor.
In a video interview with Vibe (available below), Common says he's unsure if Kanye West is planning "Cruel Winter" at all. The "I Used to Love H.E.R." rapper repeated his doubts in an interview with Vulture, sounding even more convinced there was no compilation in the works: "Oh, yeah, nah, nah. I don't think that's happening. It was more of a rumor -- cat's been creating, but everybody's been doing their solo album. So that's what that is."
That doesn't exactly jibe with the earlier reports from within the camp. Big Sean has been telling just about everyone who will listen that the album is on the way...

“Dynamic Duets” isn’t going to make anyone’s list of the most memorable episodes in Glee history, but in the spirit of the holiday, let’s just be thankful that we had something other than procedural reruns and pro football to help keep us from fully succumbing to tryptophan comas.
