Exclusive: Great American Family is about to drop another installment of its Candace Cameron Bure Presents series. The movie is called Just in Time and stars Broadway’s Laura Osnes, Peter Bryant (Family Law), and Greyston Holt (The Night Agent).
Premiering March 26, Just in Time follows Hannah (Osnes) and her husband, Rowan (Holt), who have focused all their time, energy, and attention into trying to have a baby. The pressure to complete their family starts weighing heavily on their relationship. The couple is left questioning if having a child is the right thing to do and if they are still right for one another. When Hannah receives a call from a stranger, named Franklin (Bryant), who claims to have discovered an antique on the beach bearing an inscription unique to Hannah and Rowan, she reluctantly agrees to meet him to look. Franklin is certain the watch is a long-lost heirloom from Hannah’s family.

According to our combined predictions as of this writing, the five who are expected to receive Best Actress in a Musical nominations at this year’s Tony Awards are Victoria Clark (“Kimberly Akimbo”), Annaleigh Ashford (“Sweeney Todd”), Micaela Diamond (“Parade”), Sara Bareilles (“Into the Woods”), and Patina Miller (“Into the Woods”). However, there is a contender I think deserves to be in the conversation much more, and that would be Adrianna Hicks (“Some Like It Hot”).
In this stage musical adaptation of Billy Wilder‘s 1959 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, Hicks plays Sugar Kane, the lead singer of an all-girl band. While venturing out to San Diego, she develops a friendship with the band’s newest musicians who happen to be a pair of men disguising themselves as women to escape the mob. Laura Osnes, who received a Tony Award nomination for her performance as Bonnie Parker in the 2011 Broadway musical Bonnie & Clyde, has been replaced by West End actor Frances Mayli McCann in London’s nearly sold-out upcoming Bonnie & Clyde In Concert event that was intended to reteam Osnes with her original Clyde, actor Jeremy Jordan.
Producer Fourth Wall Live announced the new casting in a statement today but didn’t disclose the reason for the replacement, noting only that “The previously announced Laura Osnes is no longer performing in Bonnie and Clyde in Concert.”
Osnes made news several months ago when she departed the upcoming Disney Princess – The Concert tour after declining to comply with the production’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate for performers. In an August message on Instagram, Osnes defended her vaccine refusal by saying, “I stand by the decision my husband and I, with input from our physician,...

Laura Osnes, who has starred in such Broadway musicals as Bandstand, South Pacific and Bonnie and Clyde, is disputing reports that she was fired from a one-night benefit concert in East Hampton, NY, for her refusal to get a Covid-19 vaccine.
Osnes had been scheduled to perform at East Hampton’s Guild Hall in the August 29 production of song selections from a planned Broadway revival of the musical Crazy for You directed by Susan Stroman. Last week, the New York Post reported that Osnes had been fired from the show for refusing to get vaccinated.
The actress says the report was inaccurate. In an Instagram post, Osnes claims she withdrew from the production after being informed that safety “protocols had changed.”
“I was disappointed but responded that I would have to withdraw, as I have not yet gotten the vaccine,” Osnes writes. (See the full post below.)

Broadway star Laura Osnes has been booted from a one-night-only performance of “Crazy for You” after refusing to get vaccinated against Covid-19, according to Page Six.
The performance was slated for a theater in the Hamptons that told the outlet it requires its staff and performers to be vaccinated. Josh Gladstone, artistic director at East Hampton’s Guild Hall, said, “We’re sorry not to have Laura on this, [and] we will look forward to working with Laura again. We are concerned about maintaining the safety of our staff and our audiences.”
Page Six said it was the “Cinderella” star’s costar, Tony Yazbeck, who really pushed her on the issue, explaining he has two little children at home for whom he was worried. The outlet said Osnes was replaced by Sierra Boggess.
A representative for Osnes did not immediately return a request for comment.

It’s the first July 4 after a year of pandemic-induced shutdowns, and Americans are partying – and traveling – like it’s 1999.
An estimated 3.5 million travelers are expected to shuttle through US airports over the July 4 weekend, according to Aaa. That makes it the busiest travel period since the start of the pandemic.
Air screening numbers have surpassed pre-pandemic levels for the first time, according to the Transportation Security Administration. Aaa is expecting air travel this weekend to surge to 164% of its level during the same period in 2020.
The perennial regional holiday favorite, Las Vegas, is expecting crowds to rival the pre-shutdown era, as the Strip slowly crawls back to life.
But not all is going smoothly for those travelers.

Anyone who has ever heard Aaron Tveit sing knows he's basically a Disney prince in real life, so it's perfectly fitting that he plays royalty in his first Hallmark movie. In One Royal Holiday - which premieres on Oct. 31 on the Hallmark Channel - the actor plays a prince named James who begrudgingly finds himself stranded in New England days before Christmas due to a snowstorm. After a chance encounter with a bubbly nurse named Anna (Laura Osnes), though, James ends up spending the holidays at her family's Connecticut inn, and a sweet romance slowly begins to unfold.
Having known Osnes for a long time, Tveit said he was excited to work with the fellow Broadway star in the movie. Even though the two have sung together on various occasions, Tveit noted that they had "never worked together properly." Plus, the fact that Osnes has a few Hallmark movies under...

If you're already adrift without another Hallmark Original Series to watch, you're not alone.
But we have good news today as Crown Media announced new original programming and some renewals we've been waiting for.
Most importantly, there are two renewals to announce that join When Calls the Heart for (fingers crossed) a 2021 release.
Good Witch will return for a seventh season, and Chesapeake Shores will return for a fifth season!
Hurrah!
As you know, Good Witch Season 6 just ended on quite the cliffhanger.
It was the first season in which Bailee Madison didn't appear as Grace, and in Rhys Matthew Bond only made guest appearances as Nick.
Without the younger cast, the adults got a lot more storylines, and love flourished.
Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam (James Denton) celebrated their one-year anniversary and began to grow under each other's influence.
The proved that there is always something left to learn about your partner.

Roger Horchow, a Cincinnati-born entrepreneur who parlayed a luxury mail-order fortune into a Tony Award-winning streak as a producer on Broadway, died Saturday in Dallas of cancer. He was 91.
The founder in 1971 of he Horchow Collection luxury mail-order catalog, Horchow sold the company to Neiman Marcus in 1988, and by 1992 had won his first Tony Award as producer of Crazy For You, a “new” George Gershwin musical inspired by 1930’s Girl Crazy. Directed by Mike Ockrent and choreographed by Ockrent’s future wife Susan Stroman, Crazy For You was a smash, garnering awards and audiences enthralled by its classic Gershwin score and refreshingly contemporary style.
Six years later Horchow and co-producer Roger Berlind mounted a revival of Cole Porter’s Kiss Me, Kate, starring Marin Mazzie, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Michael Berresse. It, too, was a hit, winning the Tony for Best Musical Revival.
