Zalika Thomas
- Actress
- Additional Crew
- Sound Department
Born in Dallas, Texas and raised amongst 5 sisters and brothers, Zalika
Thomas was labeled the entertainer and the tomboy. Zalika was very
competitive while growing up and played a variety of sports. At the age
of 5 years old, Zalika very convincingly pretended she was dead in the
arms of her mother, and the jokes seemed to never stop thereafter.
Under the influence of astounded celebrities, she hoped to become a
dancer/actress/doctor someday, but it was all in her imagination
then.In the mean time, her father (former Dallas Cowboy) discovered she
was a fast runner and at the age of 8 years old he began to condition
and train her for track and field. Zalika discovered her new passion to
be a Track Star. She ran for about six years and stopped inasmuch as
the magnet high school she attended didn't offer ANY opportunities for
sports. She worked at a well known copy store which would catapult
Zalika right into the center of a journey she had imagined as an eight
year old. One day, a lady walked into the copy store and suggested that
Zalika should model and submit to a local agency in Dallas, Texas and
Zalika did. Zalika analyzed the industry and indulged herself and began
working as a runway/fashion print model, as well as a full time job and
raising her beloved son, King. Later she began taking acting classes
and this is where the fun began. Two years later Zalika had a resume
full of film work/voiceover/commercial print work as well as Film/TV
training and Film/TV workshops. The next step was to get an agent to
market her vigorously. As her mother (former English/creative writing
school teacher) would always say, Never Give Up, Zalika indeed is not.
She hopes to work in major motion films such as, action/sci-fi features
as well as other films with roles that empower the audience as well as
entertain them. Zalika wears a wonder woman bracelet and hopes for
world peace, sisterhood, respect, loyalty. She loves to help people and
motivate them to believe in themselves and respect and love themselves
and others.
