Off late there have been numerous speculations, rumours, gossips and hearsay circulating around the making of the newest Sajid Nadiadwala production which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's popular book 2 States. The film was announced shortly after the release of Nadiadwala's last production Anjaana Anjaani and though there was an official statement made in this regard, tongues have continued to wag around it's director, star cast, timeline and other logistics. While Siddharth Anand is supposed to direct the 2 States adaptation, there have been constant murmurs around Saif Ali Khan walking in and out of project as well as the choice of heroine being either Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone. Also, the film by itself has been a bone of contention as apparently the screenplay hasn't been finalised yet, hence leading to further doubts around whether it would come on floors in near future. "I am most definitely making 2 States.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Anand were collaborating again, despite the fate Anjaana Anjaani met at the box-office. The film was to be an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat.s popular book 2 States.What.s more, the duo even managed a coup of sorts by getting Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra on board for the lead roles. The latest is that the film is in a bad state, unlikely to ever go on the floors.Last week Nadiadwala had second thoughts on backing the film. On Sunday evening Saif told Anand that he wouldn.t like to do this film. Nadiadwala, Anand and Saif had a very long and serious meeting on the film yesterday at Saif.s house.Saif having second thoughts on the film comes a surprise because Saif himself had motivated Anand to make a film on Bhagat.s novel. When contacted yesterday evening Nadiadwala put up a brave front,...

By now its common knowledge that after Anjaana Anjaani, the producer-director team of Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Anand are collaborating together on another project. While not much was known about this project, it's now revealed that the film will be an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's popular book '2 States'. What's more, the makers have managed a coup of sorts by getting Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra for the lead roles. Confirming the news to Bollywood Hungama, Siddharth Anand said, "Yes...my next film is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book '2 States'. It's being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and stars Saif and Priyanka. I was actually having another script in mind with Saif when Adi Chopra asked me to read '2 States'. He felt I could do justice to the book. I am not much of a reader but since Adi insisted, I began reading the book...

It seems all is not hunky-dory on the Saifeena front. Apparently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got into a slight argument which lasted a few days; six to be exact. It all started with Saifu told his Bebo that he would like for her to be their mom too. As usual, his kids, Sara and Ibrahim came over to spend time with their father. Normally, Bebo lets Saif handle and bond with the kids alone but this time, she decided to stick around. While Saif was busy pampering and babying his kids, Bebo chose not to which upset Saif. An argument over the children put the couple into non-verbalization mode with one another.
It took all of six days for the tension to finally dissipate and the kids finally went home. While Kareena chose to take a, "It’s nonsense" stand on the apparent argument, sources claim the lovers...

It appears that talks of recession are passé (thank goodness for that). If production plans of Sajid Nadiadwala are any indication, Bollywood can well heave a sigh of relief. The man is all set to announce not less than three films together, a first at least for him, with confirmed reports of him having finalised the likes of Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan for his next three mega crore ventures. When this indeed materialises, it would be the first instance of top superstars being signed in one go by an independent production house. This is not all as the directors chosen to do the job also come with good credentials as far as making commercial cinema is concerned. While Siddharth Anand would be at the helm of affairs for the Saif Ali Khan starrer, Sajid Khan would be working with Akshay, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani...
