This past June filmmaker Gregory Lamberson mentioned Killer Rack as a movie he had lined up to direct once he completed a few other projects that were in the works, and now that they've wrapped, he's kicking off the horror comedy in style with a teaser poster, casting news, and more.
From the Press Release:
Filmmaker and author Gregory Lamberson (Slime City, The Jake Helman Files) has announced the next film he'll direct is Killer Rack, a comedy written by Paul McGinnis, who has a supporting role in Dry Bones, which Lamberson co-directed with Michael O'Hear.
Lamberson is co-producing the film with McGinnis and Rod Durick, who contributed special make-up effects to Lamberson's Slime City Massacre as well as Dry Bones. The trio have tapped Debbie Rochon to play a key role in the film.

Author and filmmaker Gregory Lamberson dropped us a line to let us know that in the spring of 2013 he will be producing a new horror comedy, Dry Bones, from a screenplay he wrote for director Michael O’Hear. The film will co-star O’Hear and Melantha Blackthorne.
“I’ve written a number of screenplays for filmmakers who were unable to raise the necessary funding,” Lamberson says. “I really like the script I wrote for Michael so I’m producing it myself to ensure it gets made. Dry Bones tells the story of a man who returns to his home town years after being confined to a mental institution, only to find that the monster he imagined under his bed as a child really exists. It’s a funny throwback to slick 1980s horror comedies like Fright Night and House with a stronger gross-out factor. When it comes to micro-budget films like this and Snow Shark,...

There are plenty of ridiculous straight-to-dvd shark movies out there, but today we have a trailer for a film that tops them all. It's called "Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast." Check out the trailer below. Plot: After a scientist (Michael O'Hear) discovers the titular creature is feasting on the local residents of a small Western New York town, the mayor (Robert Bozek) hires cryptozoologists and a shark hunter (Andrew Elias, Kathy Murphy, Andy Taylor) to help the sheriff (Cj Qualiana, the director's father) track down the beast. At the same time a former snow shark attack survivor (director Sam Qualiana) makes plans of his own to stop the creature. "Snow Shark" will premiere at Dipson's Amherst theater in Buffalo, New York, on Tuesday, April 10th at 7pm. The premiere will be open to the paying public. On May 12th, the movie will have its film festival premiere at the South Bronx Film Festival.

There is only one way to perform horror "journalism" -- the Horror Yearbook way or aka the lazy way. We're the only website that spends three weeks on a horror movie set and doesn't bother to take one picture or one second of video. Our motto is: "Why do it yourself when you can make someone else do the work for you? Work is for jerks!" So I like to thank Slime City Massacre's First Ad Michael O'Hear for taking these pictures of Scm for me. This is our first Slime City Massacre gallery out of many featuring; Angelina Leigh, Lee Perkins Brooke Lewis, and Jennifer Bihl.
