Anne Rice's “The Sleeping Beauty” series of erotic novels about a princess awakened from her long sleep “in a much more provocative way” could be arriving to television soon. Televisa USA has acquired the English-language television and digital rights to the “Interview With the Vampire” author's collection of books, originally published from 1983-85 under the pseudonym A.N. Roquelaure. Rice is on board as an executive producer, with Rachel Winter (“Dallas Buyers Club”), Endemol North America co-chairman-ceo Charlie Corwin and literary agent-turned-producer Jessica Matthews also working to bring the books to the small screen. Also read: Paula Deen the Victim of ‘Lynch.

Has Annie become a monster like Henry?
Sana was definitely justified in making that declaration ,given Annie's actions and single-minded focus without any regard of the cost. When Annie died in that elevator, she resurrected without the humanity that made her uniquely Annie. She's now Jessica Matthews. A dark-haired individual with a dark soul and only hints of her former self.
In "Something Against You," Annie's mission to stop Henry set her on a course of action that she couldn't stop. She pushed Sana around and stopped listening. Annie thought she knew what was best without any regard or consideration of Sana. And, then Annie crossed the line. It wasn't when she killed Andrew Goodman since that really was self-defense.
Annie took the turn down the wrong path when she set up David. In that moment, Annie took Goodman's place and did Henry's bidding. Now, it could end up working out,...

Annie Walker's dead.
At least the CIA Operative Annie Walker is gone. She was shot to death by Calder Michaels and in her place a new woman was resurrected, Jessica Matthews. This new dark-haired woman has one single focus: bring down Henry Wilcox.
The transition from Annie to Jessica was more than just physical appearance. She showcased her hardcore determination through her hair, clothes and even in choice of a motorcycle. Piper Perabo rocked the long, dark hair and kick-ass look.
In order to uncover Henry's plan, Annie's first target was Henry's ex-wife, Sana. Annie believes that Sana has some knowledge about what Henry's planning since he had lunch with his ex-wife before the helicopter explosion.
Annie may be determined, but she's definitely not the most subtle person. When she first met Sana she immediately brought up Henry. Even though it was indirect, it was a huge tell. Sana may...

Covert Affairs killed off its main character in the summer finale. Yes, Annie's dead. Not literally, of course.
When Covert Affairs season 4 returns for its final six episodes tomorrow night on USA, it's a changed game. Annie's hair isn't the only thing that gets darker. She's no longer the sweet agent that we first met in Season 1. She's dangerous, has no sense of control and is willing to go to extremes in order to find out the truth. Expect the unexpected both with Annie and back at the CIA.
Can't wait for the return of Annie Walker Jessica Matthews? Check out a few teases about the season 4.5 premiere:
Annie looks good as a brunette and even better riding a motorcycle. Keep your enemies close. That philosophy is embraced by more than one party. More than one person is aware of Annie's fake death, while other's grieve and are angry over her death.

Exclusive: The exodus from CAA just keeps continuing. Recent months have seen the departures of CAA agents Rand Holston, Mike Nilon, Jessica Matthews and Shari Smiley in November. Then Dan Aloni’s firing in February. Peter Loehr’s announced departure in March along with Ara Keshisian’s quiet leaving and landing a job at Inferno Entertainment. And Byrdie Lifson Pompan’s life change last week. Now sources tell me that talent agents Isabella Brewster (younger sister of actress Jordana Brewster) and Jeff Speich (Antonio Banderas, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Robin Wright Penn) are leaving CAA. Meanwhile I can tell you to expect more terminations soon. What’s happening is a combination of overhead reductions, investor pressures, and morale problems — most of which are affecting every major agency right now. It’s not easy being a tenpercenter in this do-more-with-less Hollywood economy. CAA used to be able to place its outgoing agents in cushy industry jobs.

The 2011 Black List, the Top Unproduced Screenplays of the year has been released. The best unproduced screenplays from The Black List 2011 is compiled by votes from over 300 “execs, agency guys, and high-level assistants. Titled The Black List, the compendium highlights both established screenwriters and up-and-comers, and has served as a launching pad in the past for projects like Juno, Lars and the Real Girl, and (500) Days of Summer. Last year’s list included Margin Call, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Hunger Games, and Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Regarding the validity of The Black List, things to keep in mind:
some of these screenplays have already been acquired and are already in development, though…none will have entered principal photography by December 31, 2011. Also worth pointing out is that, as in previous years, there have been rumors that some of the participants have been accused of using the Black List to promote their own clients or friends.

The Black List of 2011 continues with the second-half of the list showcasing the screenplays that received the most number of votes.
Remember, this is a list voted on by Hollywood professionals of what they personally believe to be the best unproduced screenplays written in 2011. You might recognize titles for movies that are in development. That's fine by The Black List rules; the only condition that the screenplay must meet is that it's not being filmed within this calendar year. For Black List 2011 selections like Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, that makes it valid for Black List inclusion.
If you've missed the first half of the list you can find it here.
13 Votes:
The Accountant by Bill Dubuque
The Treasury Department pursues a brilliant, autistic accountant who doubles as an assassin and “problem-solves” with precision in more ways than one.
Agency: Paradigm
Agent: Trevor Astbury
Management: Zero Gravity Management
Manager: Eric Williams...

The 2011 Black List has arrived online and there are a bunch of the hottest scripts in Hollywood. Some have already been picked up by studios, while most are still unproduced. Here is the press release: The Black List was compiled from the suggestions of over 300 film executives, each of whom contributed the names of up to ten of their favorite scripts that were written in, or are somehow uniquely associated with, 2011 and will not have begun principal photography during this calendar year.
This year, scripts had to receive at least six mentions to be included on the The Black List.
All reasonable effort has been made to confirm the information contained herein. The Black List apologizes for all misspellings, misattributions, incorrect representation identification, and questionable 2011 affiliations.
It has been said many times, but it's worth repeating:
The Black List is not a "best of" list. It is, at best, a "most liked" list.

[1] Each December since 2004, studio executive Franklin Leonard has compiled the best unproduced screenplays of the year, as voted by hundreds of execs, agency guys, and high-level assistants. Titled The Black List, the compendium highlights both established screenwriters and up-and-comers, and has served as a launching pad in the past for projects like Juno, Lars and the Real Girl, and (500) Days of Summer. Last year's list included Margin Call, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Hunger Games, and Snow White and the Huntsman. It should be noted that the headline is somewhat misleading -- some of these screenplays have already been acquired and are already in development, though according to Leonard none will have entered principal photography by December 31, 2011. Also worth pointing out is that, as in previous years, there have been rumors that some of the participants have been accused of using the Black List to promote their own clients or friends.
