When it comes to reaching Rihanna-level curls, products are everything. Any celeb pro or beauty blogger will tell you that finding the right products for your unique curl pattern is half the battle. In comparison to the few popular African-American hair products in the early '90s (think: Pink Lotion, Just for Me, Blue Magic and African Heritage oil), thankfully, today's beauty industry is a lot more inclusive. Curly hair has become a legit subdivision of the hair market with companies like DevaCurl, Shea Moisture and Gabrielle Union's Flawless using science to create beauty products specifically for curly hair. These brands, as well as the larger beauty manufacturers, are also much more natural than...

God Of War: Ascension developers Santa Monica Studios have made good on their promise to patch a section of the game so difficult that fans balked in their masses. The PS3 title’s infamous Trial Of Archimedes was giving players trouble even on lower difficulties, enough so that the developers took heed.
Their statement in full:
Though small this 1.03 update may be, we addressed an issue that was preventing some players from progressing past the Manticore battle in Chapter 27. We have also addressed the Trial of Archimedes:
We received extensive feedback from the community that the “Trial of Archimedes” section (Chapter 28) near the end of the game was excessively challenging. In every God of War game, establishing a well-paced difficulty ramp towards the end of the game is paramount to us. Based on player response, the degree of challenge offered here was short of our goal of being perfectly balanced.

Who better to create a "lifestyle" Web site than Mr. White Louis Boat Shoes, Jay-z? Dubbed Life+Times, the intriguing new site covers all the dinner-party topics: art, technology, music, sports, and even leisure. Shoot, Jigga even has his own section, the aptly-named "Jay’s," which currently displays a pic of an epic sunset with the title "Peace God" emblazoned above. It is strangely Zen. And over in the "About" section, Jay lays out his mission statement for the site: "I want to make the extraordinary, ordinary."
But it’s not all about Jay — far it, from actually. A YouTube clip of UConn’s Kemba Walker’s game-winning moment over Villanova and an article detailing the importance of the "floater" shot can be found in the "Sports" section. Meanwhile, "Art+Design" shows you how to shave like a baller, featuring kits ranging in prices from $800 to $1,600. And...

This summer's movie season has been a little underwhelming, as while there have been a handful of true box office smashes ("Toy Story 3," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," "Shrek Forever After," "Iron Man 2"), but as far as quality or innovation goes, the pickings have been unfortunately slim (though the release of "Inception" this weekend promises to provide a boost to both of those things). There aren't a whole lot of genuinely fun times either, as whiz-bang action affairs have often been weighed down by terrible storytelling, absurd special effects or an air of self-importance. But the new release hitting theaters today will undoubtedly provide all of the fun that much of the summer movie slate has been missing. Of course, we're talking about "The Sorcerer's Apprentice."
"The Sorcerer's Apprentice," loosely based on the "Fantasia" segment of the same name, stars Nicolas Cage as the Sorcerer and Jay Baruchel as his titular apprentice.

It has been 222 days since the release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." That's a long time to wait for a continuation of the story of the most epic supernatural love triangle in cinema, but that's how long fans of the "Twilight" series had to wait before getting the opportunity to check out "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." But that day is finally here, which means you now have the opportunity to check out the latest chapters in the saga of Bella, Edward and Jacob.
The real hardcore fans checked out the movie at midnight, but if you're heading out tonight (or perhaps going a second time), you may want to spend a few minutes with the video playlist below. It'll get you in exactly the mood you need to be in to tackle the tale of vampires, werewolves, forbidden love and battles between beasties. There's a healthy dose of songs...

Even though James Cameron's "Avatar" — which finally opens today at theaters nationwide — has a killer lead cast in Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Giovanni Ribisi, the real stars of the film are the computer-generated alien race known as the Na'vi. They're a stunning feat of technological advancement, fully realized and incredibly animated.
Also: They're really, really blue. So blue that we've had Eiffel 65's "Blue" stuck in our heads for most of the lead-up to the film's release. Considering that is unacceptable in most cultures, we decided to dig deep into the MTV archives to find out what the best "Blue" songs were.
As it turned out, there are some absolute gems. Who could forget Debbie Gibson's "Out of the Blue" or the White Stripes "Blue Orchid?" We treated ourselves to Brand New Sin's "Black and Blue" as well as Galaxie 500's "Blue Thunder." There...

Jersey City, New Jersey — If you didn't mind the (near constant) rain, the resultant mud, the trench foot or the indescribable odor of 10,000 soaking-wet Tool fans, well, then the second All Points West festival was genuinely great.
Actually, it was pretty great regardless of those things, a testament to the organizers who assembled a lineup that managed to outshine the deluges that flooded New Jersey's Liberty State Park all weekend. The brainchild of Goldenvoice, the same folks who bring you Coachella, Apw lived up to the pedigree, delivering a lineup heavy on indie (both new and old), hip-hop and buzz bands, and positively top-heavy with headliners...

Hov plays old hits, new material at casino concert.

Uncasville, Connecticut — Jay-z's rep says that the Mc's recent run of dates isn't really a proper tour, but it doesn't matter — fans always come out to see Hov because, like Michael Jordan in his prime, there's always a chance that they'll see something that hasn't been done before.
One thing fans didn't see at the Mohegan Sun casino resort in Connecticut on Friday night was Ciara, who'd opened other shows on this short string of dates but cancelled due to an unspecified illness. Instead, they got a set from Lupe Fiasco and a brief one from other tour opener Fabolous.
The two got the crowd primed for Jay, who took the stage dressed all in black and wearing a T-shirt that said "D.O.A." — which was also the name of song he opened with (a.
