When Prince Lorenzo Borghese decided he would seek himself a wife with whom to spend his life, Erica Rose signed right up. She went onto national television as one of 25 women looking for love in what Chris Harrison famously (always) called the most dramatic season yet. She did not find love with the prince, but Erica Rose found a lot of love from

The very first episode of The Bachelor premiered on March 25, 2002. Back then, it seemed crazy that two people could fall in love with each other, much less get engaged, in a matter of weeks. And yet, Bachelor Nation continued coming for more, proving that we just can't get enough of the ABC show. If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane, and seeing Chris Harrison in all his glory, it might be time to binge-watch some old seasons.
From seasons one to 22, there have been a whole lot of memorable moments. Thanks to ABC's tribute video to the host with the most, we know that there have been 6,578 kisses, 2,924 roses, and 37 proposals. Unfortunately, Netflix and Hulu won't help you see every single one of them. Neither streaming service offers old seasons. Even ABC's website only gives you access to episodes from the current season. At this rate, it...

This is our favorite Christmas present of the year and it wasn’t even given to us: a 7-year-old from New Jersey named Elizabeth was volunteering at a pet rescue mission recently when she fell in love with one of the puppies. She was so heartbroken when they parted that even talking about the puppy brings her to tears.
During a recent dog adoption special on The Meredith Vieira Show, Meredith revealed that her team managed to track that puppy, named Lorelai, down, then surprised Elizabeth by giving her the puppy as a present. Her reaction is priceless:
(If the man video looks familiar, it’s because he’s former Bachelor contestant and current hottie with a heart of gold Prince Lorenzo Borghese, who founded Animal Aid USA and now we have absolutely no idea why he didn’t win.)

There’s just something about The Bachelor/Bachelorette and Wipeout that feels connected. Maybe it’s that we’re used to seeing these people wipeout in just about every way, so watching them get punched in the face seems like the next logical step. Or maybe it is just that it’s way too fun to watch some of the most ridiculous personalities in reality television swim through mud.
Whatever it is, watching the Bachelor-Bachelorette episode of Wipeout was a pleasure. Here are the top 10 moments in case you missed it:
10. “My life’s a wipeout, so I’m in.

The Bachelor may have had Prince Lorenzo Borghese, but a new reality show has promised women the chance to win the heart of Prince Harry – sort of.
On I Wanna Marry "Harry", 12 American women vie for the affections of a man they believe to be the red-headed royal – who in real life has been getting more serious with girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
But in reality the contestants will be fighting over a Harry look-alike.
The dashing (but common-born) Brit Matthew Hicks spent weeks at the palatial Englefield House in Berkshire poising as the prince in the new reality show, reminiscent of Fox's 2003 series Joe Millionaire.

Swedish DJ Basshunter - real name Jonas Erik Altberg - had his heart smashed to smithereens by Ronnie Wood's ex Katia Ivanova on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2010.
The tactile twosome shared several cosy encounters in bed together, but before long Katia was calling time on their ill-fated romance due to Jonas being "too clingy" and her having a secret boyfriend on the outside.

Life as one of the "Secret Princes" is hard enough without another noble guy showing up to steal all of the attention. In this exclusive sneak peek from the upcoming episode, Prince Lorenzo deals with this problem head-on when Lord Rob comes to visit.
As any fan of "Secret Princes" knows all too well, Lord Rob was one of the Season 1 princes -- and he's a rather attractive and charming fellow. He's really not the guy you want to have as competition for a woman's attention.
But is Lorenzo's edict going to have the desired effect? As the clip shows, the other princes mostly seem a little bit annoyed (and amused) instead of supportive.
Maybe Lorenzo should just force Rob to say the Prince's full name if he wants to talk to a woman? That would probably be far more effective, since no one is ever going to achieve that feat.

A new batch of royals are going undercover on Season 2 of TLC's "Secret Princes," this time in Austin, Texas. That means the men, who are searching for women to love them despite their royal titles, must learn how to put on some Southern charm to attract the ladies.
In Zap2it's exclusive sneak peek at Friday's (Nov. 1) episode, the boys try to help Prince Lorenzo perfect his Southern accent. Things don't go very well when he tries out his best drawl on the phrase, "Why ma'm, your eyes are the prettiest I've ever seen."
Elsewhere in the episode, the princes take the advice of Season 1's Lord Rob and venture outside their comfort zones to meet girls. That means rock climbing and rodeos, to name a few decidedly non-royal activities.

Who would have thought, lo so many summers ago (okay, three), that the reality TV reject recycling facility known as Bachelor Pad would still be in operation? Well it is, rose lovers — the new season premieres Monday, July 23 — and this is the moment America has I’ve been waiting for all summer: The Bachelor Pad 3 cast announcement! A few contestants are no-brainers, like Kalon (pictured), a.k.a. The Guy Who Called Emily’s Daughter “Baggage” on The Bachelorette. Some are a little snoozy (Erica Rose again?), but there are definitely a few names that will cause fans to feel the special mix of surprise,...

Get ready for some drama! The new cast of ABC's guilty pleasure Bachelor Pad 3 was announced Thursday morning - and some of the most infamous former contestants from the match-making series are among them. First off, last season's winner Michael Stagliano, who witnessed his former fiancée Holly Durst fall in love with Blake Julian during the summer 2011 production, will be back. (Durst and Julian tied the knot on June 2.) Stagliano is hoping to repeat his victory while competing against current Bachelorette villain Kalon McMahon, who Emily Maynard sent packing on Monday's show after he referred to her 6-year-old daughter Ricki as "baggage.

The upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" starring Emily Maynard is reportedly moving its production from the hills of Los Angeles to North Carolina, where Maynard resides with her daughter Ricki. Both Reality Steve, the "Bachelor" franchise spoiler guru, and Wsoc-tv are reporting that a $3.9 million mansion that is currently for sale in the Charlotte, Nc area is the location for Maynard's first few weeks of filming.
The house is listed as 12,000 square-feet, with six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. The house has an outdoor kitchen, a pool, a rec room with pool tables, a ballroom and a grand staircase on which Emily will be able to make sweeping entrances and exits.
The last time a "Bachelor" or "Bachelorette" show started outside Los Angeles was in 2006, when Prince Lorenzo Borghese's season filmed in Rome, Italy.
"The Bachelorette" premieres at the end of May 2012. Filming has not yet begun.

"The Bachelor"/"Bachelorette" franchise has spawned another couple. Tara Durr, who went home on the first night of Prince Lorenzo Borghese's 2006 "Bachelor" season, and John Presser, who was also a first-night evictee during Jillian Harris' 2009 "Bachelorette" season, are heading for the altar, the couple tells Us Weekly.
The couple first connected via the "Bachelor" Facebook page, then met up at a franchise reunion in Napa Valley in 2009. John popped the question in February. "One thing led to another, and it's all been great," says John. "We both knew, right away."
Right now the couple is handling a long distance relationship, but plan to live in Tara's home state of Florida. "We're really looking forward to living in the same place!" she says.
Hey, if the show can't produce couples, at least the reunions after the shows can! Congrats, Tara and John.

From a margarita machine in the house to which "Bachelor" required $20,000 of dental work -- the "20/20" special, "Inside The Bachelor: The Stories Behind the Rose," revealed surprising secrets about the hit ABC reality franchise, including, do the couples really get intimate on the show? A show producer divulged that bachelor Matt Grant underwent $20,000 of dental work before making his debut on the show, while it was also revealed on the program that there is a margarita machine on the premises of the house where contestants live during filming. And when it comes to intimacy, "Bachelor" producer Mike Fleiss said that the "average guy has s** with three women throughout the course of the show." The special amicably reunited Brad Womack and the woman he jilted, Deanna Pappas. Womack angered fans by not choosing either of the final two women when he was "The Bachelor," but Pappas went on to...

Salma Hayek has a real-life Prince Charming to thank for returning pricey jewelry to her when it ended up on the back seat of a taxi cab. The pretty Frida star picked out $50,000-worth of rented jewelry to show off at a recent New York benefit and her assistant left it in a taxi. Fortunately for the actress, Lorenzo Borghese - the royal star of The Bachelor - was the next person to hail the cab. Lucky Hayek says, "I just took something really simple and they took the rest and the poor girl that brought me the jewelry left it in a taxi. The guy that's like the prince in The Bachelor gets in the cab right after that girl, somewhere random in New York and sees an envelope that says 'Salma Hayek'. He called (TV network) ABC and said, 'I think Salma Hayek just lost $50,000 worth of jewelry,' and they gave it back. Isn't that fantastic?" Hunky Borghese, who is related to historical French leader Napoleon Bonaparte, has an Italian title, passed down from his ancestors in the 1600s.
