- Ray Pilgrim was born in November 1936 in Islington, London, England, UK. Ray is known for Carry on Screaming! (1966).
- Session singer, principally between 1959 and 1965. He made over 200 radio broadcasts, recorded over 150 songs, (mostly for the Embassy and Oriole labels, some times using the name Bobby Stevens), and did around 1,000 live gigs, including three BBC Big Beat Shows at the Royal Albert Hall. Plus an assortment of TV jingles, film tracks and demo sessions.
- Ray returned to the studio for the first time in 45 years, to record some Lennon and McCartney songs for a new compilation of his work for the Embassy label. For this project, he renewed a working relationship with fellow Embassy session singer Mike Redway.
