[[tmz:video id="0_q0fk1z32"]] If Peyton Manning runs for President ... he's gonna have to Work to get Reggie Wayne's vote. With rumblings that Manning could transition into politics, we asked the Qb's former Indianapolis Colts teammate if he'd pull the lever for the guy out of NFL loyalty. The answer -- Nope. Wayne says he'd only vote for Peyton if he's "talking about the right stuff" ... adding, "If he don't, he might not get my vote." "Just because...

Sicario
Written by Taylor Sheridan
Directed by Denis Villeneueve
USA, 2015
Tightly wound from the opening frame, Denis Villeneueve’s Sicario opens to the gripping sounds of Jóhann Jóhannsson’s gripping electronic score, as FBI agent Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) rides in an armored vehicle to an Arizona house linked with drug traffickers. Clad in full combat armor herself, as are her partner Reggie Wayne (Daniel Kaluuya) and the dozens of other agents with them. Like the viewer, Macer doesn’t know what exactly she’s getting herself into, but the foreboding look on her face as she takes deep breaths and tries to relax suggests that she has some idea of the danger lying ahead.
It comes as soon as she enters the house in the form of a brief and brutal shootout, but the worst doesn’t arrive until she and her fellow agents clear what appears to be the most imminent danger.

In white writing on a black screen, we're taught that Sicario was the name given to Hebrew Zealots (the name means "dagger men") who fought to expel the Romans in Judea. Now the name is used in Mexico to refer to a hitman, a particularly prominent role given the enormous stakes of the Cartel-run drug war. We hear the low beating drums of Johann Johannson's splendid score, and are thrust into a police raid on a suburban Arizona home. Guns blazing, the FBI team is led by Kate Macy (Emily Blunt) and her partner Reggie Wayne (Daniel Kaluuya) into the fracas, only to discover a true horror within. Macy is then tasked on a very different mission, coming into contact with a seemingly lackadaisical agent...

Forget the football, it's this lyric-less performance that had everyone talking on Monday night.
We've heard it countless times before – but never like this.
Grammy-winning trumpet player and composer Chris Botti performed the National Anthem on Monday night ahead of the National Football League's Colts-Giants matchup. Performing in his signature style – all trumpet, no vocals – Botti delivered a wow-worthy, must-see version of the song. Watch below.

As if we weren’t already excited enough to see Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve’s drug war thriller Sicario, today brings news that another highly talented actor has joined the film’s already strong cast. Daniel Kaluuya, known for his stint as Posh Kenneth on the British teen drama Skins, just signed on for a supporting role.
Kaluuya will join the already attached Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Jon Bernthal and Josh Brolin. He’ll play Reggie Wayne, an FBI agent partnered with a Tucson cop (Blunt). Sicario, from the pen of Sons of Anarchy actor Taylor Sheridan, centers on the tense journey that Blunt’s cop undertakes when she’s recruited by a CIA agent named Matt (Brolin) to escort two rangers to apprehend a dangerous drug kingpin. The cop soon becomes embroiled with a mysterious assassin (del Toro) who has a personal connection to the kingpin’s cartel,...

Last season on Parks and Recreation, the men of Pawnee wound up at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of Andy’s dream bachelor party. In the first of Thursday’s back-to-back episodes (8 p.m., NBC), our gang returns to the home field of the Indianapolis Colts, and this time the women are playing along too. As part of the NFL’s campaign to promote one hour a day of physical activity for children, Leslie (Amy Poehler) arranges for 100 Pawnee kids to meet the Colts players. What happens when Leslie hits the field with wide receiver Reggie Wayne, April (Aubrey Plaza) encounters quarterback Andrew Luck,...

30 Rock, Season 7, Episode 10, “Florida”
Written by Tom Ceraulo & Matt Hubbard
Directed by Claire Cowperthwaite
Airs Thursdays at 8pm Et on NBC
“Florida” proves a nice bounce back from “Game Over,” whose title, it now seems, overstated things. Over the last year or so, 30 Rock has proven to be better at doing focused, character-driven episodes rather than sprawling omnibus episodes that attempt to incorporate every character, and that is the case here. Jack talks Liz into accompanying him to the titular state in order to tie up the remaining affairs with his mother’s estate and Tracy and Jenna realize they are in charge of things, which goes about as well as you would expect it to.
The A-plot serves to deepen Jack’s understanding of his mother while addressing any sexual tension that may have built up between he and Liz over the past seven years. The B-plot tracks Hazel...

Ben and Leslie’s storybook wedding is fast approaching, but you know what comes first, right? The bachelor party! Ben’s not really the Vegas type, so there weren’t any Hangover-esque shenanigans; instead, the boys stayed in for a night of beer and board games (Settlers of Catan, to be precise). At least, that’s how the night started out. Tom insisted they up the ante with a few drinks at Essence — Things Magazine’s “Next Big Thing” — where they each revealed that none of them had experienced a real bachelor party. Here’s why:
Tom: It was a Green Card wedding.

The NFL rookies are almost halfway through their first season, and it’s becoming easier to tell the good passers apart from the not so good passers. Let’s take a look at how they performed this week, and I don’t think anyone will disagree with who is sitting proudly at the top of the class.
Robert Griffin III, Washington. Final grade: A
Even though his team lost out to the New York Giants, Griffin again turned in a performance that made the rest of the league stand up and take notice.
Griffin completed 20 out of 28 passes for 258 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Again, he was excellent with the ball in his hands, rushing for 89 yards on nine carries. This display led to Giants defensive lineman Osi Umenyora stating: “that’s the best quarterback we’ve played this year”
The former Baylor Qb is clearly a front-runner for rookie of the year,...

When Indianapolis coach Chuck Pagano announced last week he had been diagnosed with leukemia and was leaving the team for extended treatment, it struck Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne to the core. Pagano was a defensive backs' coach at the University of Miami in 1997 when he recruited Wayne to the Hurricanes. Wayne started all four years at Miami and has had a surefire-Hall of Fame career as a Colt, many of those years as the favorite target of Peyton Manning. But even as Manning's go-to guy, Wayne never had a night like Sunday. In a game dedicated Pagano, Wayne exploded for 212 yards on 13 catches, a career high, to help the underdog Colts beat the Green Bay Packers, 30 - 27. Five of those...

Oh! Well… okay, then! On one level, I should have seen the events of this episode coming. After “Ron & Tammy: Part Two,” NBC ran a promo inviting viewers to check out April and Andy’s wedding registry. The next day, the network apologized, saying that it had messed up — the spot was supposed to feature the names “Ron” and “Tammy” instead of “April” and “Andy.” As it turns out, though, that mea culpa was a total red herring. Andrew Maxwell Dwyer and April Roberta (!) Ludgate did, in fact, tie the knot in tonight’s installment of Parks and Recreation. And...

Last year, EA decided to hand over the "Madden" cover athlete decision to the fans. The end result was the pretty obvious choice of Drew Brees, who had won Super Bowl Xliv with the New Orleans Saints earlier in the year. The fan decision didn't come until the choices were narrowed down to just three players (Drew Brees, Reggie Wayne and Jared Allen), but this year things are starting up a bit earlier. EA is holding a bracket-style competition with Espn, pitting 32 players against each other for the top honors of helming "Madden NFL 12."
One player from each of the NFL teams is represented (save for Seattle Seahawks, as their "player" is the notoriously-loud 12th Man, aka their fans). The voting for each of the rounds will last a week, with the final athlete determined in late April.

Just two weeks after announcing cover model Tim Tebow for "Ncaa Football 11," EA Sports has officially bestowed the same honor for "Madden 11" on New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Brees beat out Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen and Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne in fan voting to nab the accolade. Lucky for him, too, because he already has a a Super Bowl ring and Super Bowl Mvp distinction behind him, so there's very little chance that the much-feared curse associated with Madden covers can do to him.
"The Madden NFL franchise holds a special place in popular culture and the cover is a coveted position for players all over the league," Brees said in a press release. "I'm honored to be the first cover athlete chosen by Madden NFL fans and it's a great way to cap off an amazing year for the Saints and the city of New Orleans.

Drew Brees will announce on Thursday that he’s going to grace the cover of Madden 11, according to Pasta Padre.
The news really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. He was the winning quarterback of the most-watched Super Bowl (and television broadcast) in history, and is pretty much universally loved as the young underdog who helped his team come from behind against the juggernaut that is Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.
In fact, his appearance on the cover marks the second time he’s beaten the Colts this year, since one other finalist for the spot was Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne. The other was Vikings defensive end Jared Allen. While both are more than competent players, neither can hold a candle to Brees’ massive popularity.
Brees will be on Live With Regis and Kelly on Thursday, and will no doubt make the announcement official there. And if you miss him there,...

The game is more popular than the ads.
The five biggest Super Bowl moments outscored the five biggest ads Sunday, when measured by audience spikes and how many folks using TiVo rewound the action to watch it again.
TiVo said Monday that the top moment of Super Bowl Xliv was Tracy Porter's fourth-quarter interception of Peyton Manning that was returned for a touchdown.
The next four biggest moments of the game were a failed would-be touchdown pass by the Indianapolis Colts, a New Orleans Saints penalty that moved the Colts half the distance to the goal line, a dropped pass by Reggie Wayne of the Colts and Saints coach Sean Peyton's postgame Gatorade drenching.
In aggregate, those "game" moments were more popular than the top five commercials.
"House Rules" from Doritos was tops in the ad category. The spot has a little boy telling his mother's date to keep his hands off her,...

Taking a page out of the Tiger Woods Guide to the Holidays, Leslie Knope found herself at the center of a sex scandal last night on Parks and Recreation. The episode began at a Christmas party for local government employees, where Leslie and the rest of the department were providing the entertainment for the evening. Along with a rousing closing number, Leslie did a sketch where she spoofed local councilman Bill Dexhart, specifically harping on his long history of affairs. The next day, Dexhart requested Leslie's presence at a meeting. She was convinced the meeting was about the sketch's inappropriate jabs at his personal life,...
