Tim Harrison is a filmmaker, sound designer and composer.
He began his career in 2005, founding narrative audio company Aumeta. In 2009 he designed his first feature film, Sus, with the next years seeing him work alongside Ai Weiwei on Sunflower Seeds (2010) and with Damon Albarn on The Boy in the Oak (2012).
He went on to produce a number of award-winning films & music videos for Studio Murmur, including 2013's viral hit La La La by Naughty Boy. He has also exhibited as a director at international film festivals with Helioscope (2013) and I Woke Up Before I Went To Sleep (2016).
Recent years have seen him work on Black Mirror (2018), Censor (2021), Flux Gourmet (2022), which won Best Sound at the British Independent Film Awards, and '99 (2024).
His book 'Sound Design for Film' was published in 2021 by The Crowood Press.
