There’s a lot to love about George Miller’s Best Picture nominated action adventure Mad Max: Fury Road. Every facet of the film is impressive, but undoubtedly one of the coolest elements of the film are the post-apocalyptic vehicles that all the characters right around in. There are classic hot rods turned into fast-moving tanks, semi-trucks […]

A few years ago, we wrote about a cool piece of art from Scott Park that focused on 66 famous synthetic characters (robots, droids, cyborgs, etc.) from popular movies and TV shows. Sploid has now turned that art print into a video, and it's cool to see his artwork come to life and get a sense of motion like this. Check it out below:...

Jalopnik has put together a cool little video featuring the animation of artist Scott Park as they count down the 50 most famous cars to appear in film and television over the past five decades. They even toss in a few bonus choices at the end. I wish Dom Toretto's Dodge Charger from the Fast & Furious movies had made the cut, but that's Ok — there's already a whole infographic dedicated to that. If you'd like to check out still images of most of these vehicles, click right here.

Last month, artist Scott Park released an awesome poster depicting every vehicle in the original Star Wars trilogy. The artwork is fantastic, but for those of you who prefer to see things in motion, Sploid has taken Park's art and rearranged it into a video that labels every one of the vehicles and ranks them by size, starting with a Stormtrooper uniform (not actually a vehicle, as far as I'm concerned) and an Ewok glider all the way up to a Super Star Destroyer and both Death Stars. It's a cool way to see if you know as much about that universe's vehicles as you think you do. Check it out below:

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens fast approaching, the Star Wars spirit is in the air. Talented fans are showing their love for the franchise by creating all kinds of art and videos for other fans to enjoy.
Artist Scott Park created this poster art that features several illustrations of the vehicles from the Star Wars universe. This is what he had to say about the piece:
While I have ample room in my heart for all sorts of geeky wonders, it’s no secret that Star Wars will always be my first love. So after much delaying (it’s weirdly daunting to tackle something you adore so much), I finally turned my attention to the vehicles of the Holy Trinity. So I am amazingly excited to present A Long Time Ago - The vehicles of Star Wars. (Almost) Every identifiable vehicle from the Episodes 4, 5 and 6, lovingly illustrated and...

With the holidays approaching, artist Scott Park has released a couple more geeky Christmas card designs for his "Hall of Heroes" series. The one below is Star Wars themed and features Jabba The Hut getting into the Christmas spirit, and the one above was inspired by Star Trek and gives us a fun design for an Enterprise sleigh.
To purchase any of these cards to send out to your friends and family for Christmas, click here. To see Park’s previous sci-fi Christmas card designs. click here, here, and here.
You’d better watch out. You’d better not threaten him with a thermal detonator.
You’d better not try and use a Jedi mind trick…I’m telling you why. Jabba-Claus is coming to town.

Here's a wonderful piece of fan art created by artist Scott Park called "Hall of Heroes." The illustration pays tribute to 80 female characters from movies and genre TV shows. Park is the same artist who brought us art featuring Star Cars, Movie Cars, and Robot & Cyborgs. The guy always comes up with fun and nostalgic art. I hope you like this one.

Last year artist Scott Park made a really cool poster paying tribute to several classic movie cars. He has created a follow up to his Star Cars poster called Star Cars - Volume 2, and this is what he says about it,
So. On a slow day I challenged myself to see how many more Star Cars I could think of. I thought I would maybe get another dozen. Twenty, tops. 2 days later I had a list of 80. Here’s 71 of them.
What would you say your all time favorite movie car is?...

Here's the latest illustration from artist Scott Park, in which he merges two of his greatest loves: movies and cars. It includes cars from TV shows and video games as well. I think it does a great job of fitting all of the iconic cars in there. Now, if you could have one car from any movie what one would it be? I'd personally have to go with the DeLoean from Back to the Future, with the hover conversion of course.
Thanks to Scott for the heads up on these! ...

Artist Scott Park has sent us yet another cool piece of Christmas geek art to share with you. Park is the same guy who brought us the Star Wars Star Destroyer Christmas Tree and the Tie Fighter Christmas ornament balls card designs. He's now given us a fun card featuring some Star Trek themed Santas! My favorite is Santa 2: The Wrath of Khan.

Artist Scott Park sent us over a link to his site with these two Christmas inspired Star Wars art pieces, and they are seriously the best Star Wars Christmas art I've ever seen! I love that the At-at's are pulling the Star Destroyer like a sleigh! These would make an awesome Christmas card. What are your thoughts on this Star Wars Christmas art?
