- In 2007, Cyrus Ahanchian founded Mojoflo, a multimedia strategy firm, which partners advertisers directly with celebrity talent to produce and distribute sponsored media such as contests, concerts, TV shows and movies.
- Is the Co-Founder and President of Hollywood nonprofit Love Cures Cancer, a youth-oriented media label that was started in November of 2008. With no overhead and no salaries paid, Love Cures Cancer leads by example to leave the world better than it found it by joining with celebrities to raise awareness and funding for cancer research as well as to improve the daily lives of the kids in treatment at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
- As an entertainment economist, Ahanchian works directly with the major studios, television networks, and record labels in the fields of intellectual property licensing management, celebrity brand equity and media library evaluations, global media network distribution economics, emerging media technology, and global entertainment brand management.
- While heading the Entertainment Economics and Finance division of Adams Media Research, Cyrus Ahanchian's evaluations and economic forecasts of the entertainment industry were cited and published in the "Market Analysis" Annual Report SEC Filings of both Netflix in 2004 as well as Blockbuster Video from 2004 to 2008.
- Raised funding to acquire a restaurant at the age of 23 and was Laredo National Bank's Youngest Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999.
- Prior to his career in entertainment, Ahanchian received his quantitative analytics training while working in the notoriously competitive Enron Analyst Program, where he was a venture capitalist and deal negotiator for Enron Investment Partners from 1998 to 2000.
- In May of 1999, Ahanchian left the Enron Analyst Program early to serve as the founder of Enron Media Services, Enron Global Broadband's strategic TV ad-time 30 second spot market trading division. Consequently, this is what first led Ahanchian to attend USC Film School and enter the entertainment industry.

- Raised in Houston, Texas, he is the son of Dr. Amir H. Ahanchian - an Iranian immigrant, and has an older sister, Amie - that works as an International Trade and Customs lawyer in Washington, D.C.
- Is of half Persian and half Mexican descent and often volunteers as a mentor and tutor to disadvantaged youths.
- In 1996, Ahanchian was recognized as the highest scoring ROTC candidate in Texas on the 1996 Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) and was one of only seven US Airforce R.O.T.C. Cadets in the state of Texas to be selected as an Air Force Pilot.
- Graduated from the University of Southern California's MBA/Film School Program on a full-tuition scholarship in 2004 and while at USC, Ahanchian was also both the first and second recipient of the Larry Auerbach Dean's Award for the Study of the Business of Entertainment. In 2004, Ahanchian was selected by Film Independent (formerly IFPw) as a Future Screenwriter Select for his screenplay, An American Race.
