Mumbai, Aug 22 (Ians) Actress Saiyami Kher hosted a screening of ‘Ghoomer’, where the God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar himself saw the film and praised her performance in the movie.
Post the screening, he even requested Saiyami to show him the Ghoomer bowling.
Saiyami gladly obliged leaving Sachin speechless.
He even appreciated Saiyami’s performance saying, “Saiyami look very authentic. Her love for cricket and her ability to understand the character was amazing.”
Saiyami posted the video on social media, saying, “What’s the one dream you had as a child that you never thought could never come true? Mine was that someday, I would get to meet my hero, my inspiration, my teacher. I have loved and learnt this game watching him play. I’ve bunked college to watch him play.”

Allison Baver, a three-time Olympic athlete, is expanding her footprint in the world of entertainment. Her burgeoning production company, Allison Baver Entertainment, has announced its upcoming slate of movies, television shows and documentaries, all of which will emphasize female and diverse talent on both sides of the camera.
Abe’s film slate will feature social thrillers, including the psychological horror comedy “Wolf-ish.” Jessa Zarubica (“Six Feet Apart”) is writing and directing that movie, about a savvy marketing manager who discovers a dark secret in her workplace. Baver is executing producing “Wolf-ish.”
Another movie in the works is the fantasy horror film “Dead Princess,” which centers on an orphaned teenager who inherits a royal estate and learns of the ghostly terrors rooted in her family history. Production began in 2020 before the pandemic began and will resume next year. Baver is executive producing, and Bobby Garcia is writing the script.

Exclusive: Shout! Studios has picked up North American rights to Caged (previously titled The S.H.U.), a social thriller starring Edi Gathegi of the Twilight Saga and X-Men: First Class fame.
Premiere Entertainment Group is handling the projects rights during the virtual Toronto market.
Melora Hardin, Angela Sarafyan, Tony Amendola, and James Jagger also star in the pic, which is an elevated genre film following an affluent African American psychiatrist (Gathegi) into federal prison after he is found guilty of murdering his wife (Sarafyan). Filmmaker Numa Perrier calls Jezebel a story of “coming of womanhood…Black Womanhood.” The film, which she wrote and directed, is based on a true story and follows 19-year-old Tiffany (Tiffany Tenille) as she deals with her dying mother and tries to make ends meet by working as an internet fetish cam girl.
