Played the role of Puck alongside Dame Judi Dench in the stage version of 'Midsummer Night's Dream,' directed by Sir Peter Hall, despite never having done a Shakespeare play prior to auditioning.

His father is South African and his mother is British.

His sister, Ria Ritchie, is a singer-songwriter.

Was considered one of the 55 faces of the future by Nylon Magazine's Young Hollywood Issue (May 2010).
