Jeff Neavor

Jeff Neavor is a composer and Financial Advisor. He received his Bachelor of Music Education from Millikin University in 1997 and went on to receive his Master of Music Education from Illinois State University in 2005. He was a band director for 22 years, and under his direction, the Morton High School Marching Band has became a nationally recognized ensemble. The band won the Illinois Class 2A State Championship for 14 consecutive years and was a 2010 and 2018 Bands of America Grand National Semi-finalist, placing 3rd in the nation for Class AA. In 2009, the marching band was selected to represent Illinois and performed in the Presidential Inaugural Parade. Neavor and the Morton Marching Band also were the recipients of the 2017 Sudler Shield Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation. In 2001, Neavor composed the score to the film Biohazardous.
