- (1988) Lyricist, Co-Songwriter: 'Lightning Strikes Twice' was originally recorded in a musician rehearsal session in one take, by singer, songwriter, Robert Manos. Inspired by the music taking shape in the session, Emma began writing lyrics and contributed direction on the opening keyboard progressions, as invited by the band to co-create the song. A decade later, Roy Ayers heard the original, unreleased version of "Lightning Strikes Twice" and recorded it for his highly acclaimed 'Spoken Word' CD in 1998.
- (1996 - 1997) Associate Producer for the debut vinyl EPs of Slum Village produced by James Dewitt Yancey (February 7, 1974 - February 10, 2006), better known by the stage names J Dilla and Jay Dee, an American record producer and rapper. J Dilla aka Dilla emerged from the underground hip hop scene in Detroit, Michigan as one third of the acclaimed music group Slum Village. James was one of the music industry's most influential hip-hop artists working with acts including A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, The Roots, The Pharcyde and Common. When receiving the first of two boxes of Slum Village records 'Fantastic' Volume I & Volume II he said, "Getting these records made are like a dream come true for me" [RIP Dilla].
- (1986 - 1988) Co-writer and associate producer of the RCA Roadshow featuring recording artist compilations of new releases, videos and touring details for Diana Ross, Bruce Hornsby & The Range, The Eurythmics, The Pointer Sisters, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Kenny Rogers, Hall and Oats, reissues from the Elvis Presley catalog and newly signed artists from the RCA and Blue Note Records artist roster.
- (1978) Began working as a freelance make-up artist and wardrobe stylist at RCA Records with in-house photographer Nick Sangiamo on photo shoots featuring Sir James Galway, The Main Ingredient, Carl Carlton, Skyy, Emanual Ax, Larry Elgart, Julian Breem, Dave Davies and The Canadian Brass Orchestra.
