- It does really set up for a massive final season. And it sets up Lou's drive towards this massive finale as well.
- Lou is unafraid of violence and unafraid of going after what she wants, regardless of who might get in her way.
- The end of season eight, part 1 and the beginning of season eight, part 2 is pretty explosive. There are some extraordinary acts of betrayal and revenge. Some of it was quite terrifying to shoot, actually, which was fun as well. Sometimes the adrenaline just pumps through your body so much, you get into the car afterwards and your whole body just has a big shakedown and you're like, 'Gosh, I can't believe somewhere in my imagination I find that I'm capable of doing that!' It's terrifying!
- The thing I love about playing Lou is there's so much humour in her as well, because Lou has a very dark sense of humour and, because she's kind of irreverent, she's really unafraid to speak her mind and unafraid to poke the bear, so to speak. There's great joy in playing somebody that fearless and who finds humour in the oddest places.
