Drew Carr was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on April 20th to Brent and Andrée Car. He grew up with an older sister and one younger brother between Arkansas, Louisiana, Los Angeles, and Houston. Drew played around in various community theatre productions, print modeling, and a regional Click-It-Or-Ticket commercial before landing a small supporting role in the Joey Lauren Adams independent film, Come Early Morning, starring Ashley Judd. This inspired his parents to move the family of 5 to Los Angeles California, as much for the promise Drew showed, as well as the adventure of it. Shortly after arriving, Drew booked his first guest star spot on Criminal Minds, playing Wally Brisbane. Shortly after that he participated in a series of short films, one of which being the AFI produced short Bye, Bye Benjamin written and directed by Charlie McDowell. From there he starred as Dill Harris in the ICT production of To Kill a Mockingbird, beginning a trio of roles cast by Michael Donovan, the next being Neil Patrick Harris's directorial debut of the play I Am Grock, by Amanda Rogers. Thirdly he took on the role of Malcolm in the West Coast premiere of the play Hollywood Arms, written by Carol Burnett and her daughter Carrie Hamilton, directed by Linda Lavin. Academy Award winning director David Fincher then cast him as a Young Benjamin in the critically acclaimed film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Later, Drew attended high school in Houston, Texas and then went on to the Steinhardt School at New York University. He continues to pursue Film, Television, and Theatre and now lives in New York City, writing the pieces he'd like to see himself in one day.
