Irina Georgievna Svetlitsa is Soviet animator, background artist. She worked at the Soyuzmultfilm studio from 1946 to 1991. Irina Svetlitsa participated in the creation of about 120 animated films. Among her most famous works are such animated films as: "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" (1950), "The Scarlet Flower" (1952), "Golden Antelope" (1954), "The Snow Queen" (1957), "The Kid and Carlson" (1968), "The Bremen Town Musicians" (1969), "Carlson Returns" (1970), "The Nutcracker" (1973), "Cinderella" (1979).
