(1959) Single: "There's a Moon Out Tonight" (Planet Records). NOTE: The record was originally released on Planet Records, then sold to Lost Nite Records, but it sold poorly and the group broke up. In 1961--after it had been receiving heavy airplay by several local New York City DJs and began to sell well--Lost Nite sold it to Old Town Records, which could release it nationally, and it eventually rose to #3 on the rock charts and became the group's biggest hit.
