Alexander Skarsgård has historically been extremely private about his dating life, but he's also had several high-profile relationships with other stars you'll definitely recognize, like Alexa Chung. At the premiere of "Succession" season four in March, though, he joined costar Sarah Snook - who unveiled her baby bump on the red carpet - in sharing some exciting baby-related news that evening. Though speculation had swirled for a while, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he finally confirmed that he and fellow actor Tuva Novotny had welcomed their first child.
Before that, the 46-year-old actor - who plays the nefarious mogul Lukas Matsson on "Succession"'s final season - has been mostly single or pretty private about his dating life. He has, however, been linked to a handful of his Hollywood costars and other notable celebs. Netflix’s popular reality TV series, Next in Fashion, is back and better than ever. The reality show follows a crop of talented designers who compete to see who is the next big thing in the fashion world. With $200,000 on the line, the designers were willing to pull out all the stops to showcase their best work. However, there was no shortage of challenges for the competitors to overcome in order to claim the top prize. The Next in Fashion winner had to contend with long days, tight deadlines, and restrictions in order to win the sophomore season. They also had to overcome how starstruck they were around Gigi Hadid.

Next in Fashion Season 2 returned to Netflix at the beginning of the month. However, there was a huge shake-up to the cast for the sophomore season. In addition to a whole new crop of designers, the season also boasts a new co-host and celebrity judge. While Tan France returned to the show for its new season, Alexa Chung was absent from the reality TV series. Instead, Gigi Hadid took over the role that previously belonged to Chung. Fortunately, the supermodel had a wonderful rapport with France. But considering the duo were besties before they ever began filming the show, this isn’t too much of a shock.

Next in Fashion returned to Netflix for season 2 earlier this month, but not everyone returned. While Tan France reprised his role as a host and celebrity judge for the show, his co-host, Alexa Chung, was noticeably missing. In the sophomore season of the fashion reality TV show, Gigi Hadid took over Chung’s role as the co-host. The supermodel seemed to bring a breath of fresh air to the series, lending her sunny disposition to the show while also providing valuable critiques. In fact, France seems to think that the show was liberating for Hadid in a lot of ways.

Alexander Skarsgård is a dad! While attending the season four premiere of "Succession" in New York City on Monday, the 46-year-old actor confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that he welcomed his first child with girlfriend Tuva Novotny, 43. "Thank you very much," Skarsgård told Et's Rachel Smith after she congratulated him on his baby. "I got this on the red carpet," the actor told the host, showing off a stuffed animal he was gifted on the red carpet. Reps for Skarsgård did not immediately respond to Popsugar's request for comment and reps for Novotny could not be reached.
Given how private both Skarsgård and Novotny are about their relationship, not much else is known about their romance, though Novotny previously showed off her baby bump at the Swedish Elle Awards in April 2022. Baby Skarsgård joins Novotny's 16-year-old daughter Ella, whom she shares with ex Nicolai Bjerrum Lersbryggen.

The streamers, led by Netflix, moved into the non-scripted entertainment space in a serious way about five years ago.
This coupled with the fact that the broadcast networks were still having disproportionate success with unscripted shows, opened plenty of opportunities for producers to create new entertainment formats.

Since then, the pair have worked with the likes of Helen Mirren, Tan France, Alexa Chung and Gigi Hadid on a number of shiny floor entertainment shows.

Sienna Miller is opening up about the sexism she’s faced in theatre.
Speaking to Vogue for their December cover story, she said she was once “offered less than half” the weekly pay of her male costar for a play on Broadway.
While Miller didn’t name the show or producer as she “didn’t want to be mean”, she did end up taking the role despite the pay discrepancy.
“I said to the producer, who was extremely powerful, it’s not about money — it’s about fairness and respect, thinking they’d come back and say, ‘Of course, of course,'” she recalled.

The producer didn’t exactly see eye to eye, however.
“But they didn’t. They just said, ‘Well f–k off then,’” she explained.

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn were perennial Emmy nominees as hosts of “Project Runway,” contending together every year from 2013 to 2018, which was their last season before stepping down from the long-running fashion competition series. They came back this spring with a new series, Amazon’s “Making the Cut,” which means they’re back on the Emmy ballot for Best Reality Host. If they get back in with another nom, Klum will set a new record as the most nominated host of all time.
Klum was first nominated for Best Reality Host in 2008, the inaugural year for that award, but she lost three times in a row to Jeff Probst (“Survivor”). Then she fell out of the category in 2011 and 2012, but when she was entered for consideration alongside “Runway” mentor Gunn, they were nominated in 2013, and they even won that race. To date that still makes them the only hosting duo to prevail in that category.

When “Project Runway” premiered on Bravo in 2004, it entered a crowded reality competition landscape but still managed to be the first of its kind as a fashion design competition. Now, more than a decade and a half later, such fashion series are seeing a surge.
“Project Runway” alone has launched more than six spinoffs, seen franchise expansion in new countries and undergone a major revamp. But streamers Netflix and Amazon Prime Video also recently got in the game with “Next in Fashion” and “Making the Cut,” respectively.
“Everything in the world has changed,” says former “Project Runway” winner and now mentor Christian Siriano. “But what I think stays the same is that people are still really interested in the process of how fashion comes to life — how it’s created.”

“Next in Fashion” has sewn its final thread — at least at Netflix.
Netflix has canceled the fashion competition series hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung after only a single season, Variety has learned exclusively.
France confirmed the news, saying “we’re not doing a second a season,” before hinting that perhaps the series could be revived elsewhere.

Leslie Jones was the ultimate cheerleader at Christian Siriano's New York Fashion Week show on Thursday. The Saturday Night Live alumna sat front row alongside Alicia Silverstone, Heidi Klum, Rachel Bilson and Alexa Chung at Spring Studios in the Big Apple. As the models strutted down the runway in the Fall 2020 looks, Jones channeled Jerry Harris from Cheer and showed her support. But instead of doing his signature "mat talk," Jones did her very own "carpet talk." She shouted out the names of the runway stars, including Coco Rocha, and gave them some extra encouragement. "Yasss, Coco! You know I love you, girl!" she screamed, telling the model to "work it"...

Glossy, chirpy and colorful, Netflix’s “Next in Fashion” — debuting Jan. 29 — is one of two new entrants to the televised fashion design competition arena this year. The 10-episode series, hosted by “Queer Eye’s” Tan France and presenter and designer Alexa Chung, also marks Netflix’s first venture into a category that for years has been dominated by “Project Runway.”
“Fashion is something that is really appealing and relatable, and so it made sense for us to get into that space considering our viewers around the world,” Netflix vice president of unscripted originals and comedy specials Brandon Riegg told Variety. “It is also an opportunity to gauge the fashion enthusiasm of fans and showcase some amazing talent and stories [from designers], the struggles and the victories, and help them elevate their own brand to the next level through the show.”
