- Maybe it's the sensibilities and work ethic ingrained into kids from Nebraska or maybe it's a matter of keeping a clear focus as an adult. Whichever is the case, Michael E. Burgess has worked long and hard to hone his acting and writing skills, even during the times when he was working at other professions full-time (including the U.S. Navy and a decade-long career in nursing) and acting only when he could. The result is seven completed screenplays which he has authored and will be turned into feature films. He will be producing and/or acting in all of these productions, the first will be the feature comedy "Strap-Off", to begin principal filming in January 2006.
He has also written eight books on various subjects, including "Strap-Off: The Novel", which will hit bookstores nationwide and internationally in the Spring of 2006.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jennifer Bronstein
