Producer / Writer / Director A musician by trade, Frank Xavier
DeGennaro took a circuitous route to filmmaking. Lead guitar and
vocalist throughout 1980s, he earned prominence with his band, "Francis
Xavier and the Holy Roman Empire." sharing bills with such prominent
bands as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Living Color, and REM. In the 90s,
Frank ventured into studio work and wrote music for several
commercials, including Adidas, Swatch, Thomas's English Muffins,
Snickers. Eventually turning his musical attention to film, Frank wrote
music for several independent filmmakers and i began directing music
videos. In 2005 Frank produced and directed his first feature film,
"Torture Me No More" which currently has worldwide distribution. Frank
has now finished producing his second feature film project titled
"Powerplegic", directed by his 17-year old daughter Natalie Moore
DeGennaro.
