- A late comer to the industry, Bovill has amassed over 100 credits after stepping away from a successful business career as a marketing executive in high tech in 2008.
The versatile character actor has played many notable roles including; Henry Kissinger in Adam McKay's Oscar winning "Vice", killer Richard Sims on "Hawaii Five O", redneck bartender Bibs on NBC's "Perfect Harmony", the clueless Confederate sentry in Netflix' "Kevin Hart's Guide to Black History" and the voice of blue collar trucker Dick in the hit video game "Dead Rising 3".
He's been tapped to play Donald Sterling in HBO's upcoming series "Winning Time" based on the 1980s era Los Angeles Lakers. He'll be teaming back up with Vice executive producers Adam McKay and Kevin Messick. Production is slated to start in late 2020. The cast includes John C Reilly, Jason Clarke and Molly Gordon with showrunner Max Borenstein.
Other notable TV and Film credits include; Young Sheldon, NCIS, American Horror Story, Brooklyn Nine Nine, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Grey's Anatomy, Shameless, Bosch, Contraband, Get On Up, 20th Century Women and Free State of Jones.

He and his wife, Joni Bovill, launched the indie record label, Elmo Records in 2000 and released two critically acclaimed CDs. Their music has been licensed for film and television placement.
As an undergrad and grad assistant coach at the University of Nebraska and LSU, respectively, he was a part of the staffs that won five NCAA team titles in women's track and field.
An avid cyclist, PADI certified scuba, foodie and world traveler.
