Aray's professional broadcast media experience for commercial radio and
public radio formats spans over ten years and multiple on-air
broadcaster and co-producer key roles, including:
KDEO Music Host, WNYC News Reporter, HPR Underwriting Associate, HPR Co-Producer, KHPR News Anchor, and KIPO News Anchor for NPR's Weekend Edition.
Aray has been a member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA, and has served as a member of the Nominating Committee for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a member of the Screen Actors Guild NY Film Society for several years.
In addition to his AEA, SAG and AFTRA professional union affiliations, he is the president emeritus of the Association for Diplomacy and Military Studies, Hawaii Pacific University, and has been held multiple terms of elected and appointed to government office including Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Council Member, Board Member and Commissioner in city, county and state government.
As a senior leader, he has previously deployed to US-NATO joint operations assignments, including IFOR, SFOR and KFOR.
