- Daniel's Grandfather Ray Wyles was an American Singer/Songwriter. He was widely known in Northern Louisiana, Southern Arkansas, Western Mississippi, and some parts of Texas. In addition he was a spokesman for Norris Sugar Cane Syrup showing his smiling face on their labels. Ray was also the first Police Captain of West Monroe, LA and served in the Police force for many years.
