After a musical battle of 13 weeks, the popular singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ had its Grand Finale on Sunday 30th August. A star studded evening, team Shaan’s finalist Pawandeep Rajan was awarded the winning title and became the first winner of ‘The Voice India’.

Team Sunidhi came fourth with her finalist Rishabh Chaturvedi, while team Mika came third with his finalist (and the only girl left in the competition) Parampara Thakur. Dil Dhadakne Do is the eagerly awaited Zoya Akthar venture, hot on the heels of Zindagi Na Milengi Dobara. It re-assembles the winning musical-lyrical combination of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Javed Akhtar and features vocals from Siddharth Mahadevan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra amongst others. The Cancer Patients Aid Association’s fashion show, ‘Caring with Style’, by desginers Shaina Nc and Vikram Phadnis at Nsci Grounds, Worli boasted an a-list of stars on the runway. Celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Sadhana, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Poonam Dhillon, Vivek Oberoi, Neetu Chandra, Rohit Roy, Manish Paul, Meiyang Chang, Shankar Mahadevan with son Siddharth Mahadevan, Terence Lewis among many many others took part in the charity event. Y K Sapru, Founder Chairman-Cancer Patients Aid Association said, “The ‘Caring with Style’ fund raising event is one of the efforts to raise funds for the needy patients. The funds will be utilised to aid children with Leukemia.”

Following the mega-success of his previous novel-turned-film 3 Idiots (2009); you will soon see Chetan Bhagat’s romantic novel 2 States on celluloid when it releases on 18 April 2014. Starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles, the film is based on a North Indian boy falling in love with a South Indian girl and both have to deal with the cultural rivalry amongst their parents. The music to the film has been composed by trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. 20th February, 2014 – Indian Cinema’s most spectacular awards outside of India, The Tata Motors International Indian Film Academy (Iifa) Awards have declared the list of nominations (Popular category) for its 15th edition. The Videocon D2H Iifa Weekend will be held in Tampa Bay, Florida from April 23-26.

2013 was a fantastic year at the Box-office. One By Two is an upcoming romantic comedy which stars Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai in the leading roles. Directed by Devika Bhagat, the film is scheduled for release on 31 January and promises to be a fun-filled film that will appeal to the masses. The year in song in 2013 certainly was a treat for Hindi music fans. Pritam is definitely one of the most creative and canniest music directors around. He has a surefire knack for utilizing the best trends from Southie beats in R…Rajkumar to retro charm with Barfi. However, he is severely inconsistent when it comes to delivering a complete album of good songs that don’t coast on the success of those most played on the radio, and TV. Mumbai, Dec 9: Arab singing sensation Naya has crooned the title track of the forthcoming film "Dhoom 3" in Arabic.

"Dhoom 3" album has a song titled "Malang", sung by Siddharth Mahadevan and Shilpa Rao, then there is "Kamli" by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Naya has created her own space in the Arab music world since her debut in 2009, said a statement.

One of the most awaited films of the year, the sleek action thriller promises to unfold high octane stunts and power packed performances when it hits the screens Dec 20.
