With over 20 years of music industry experience, Dan Efram is President
of Tractor Beam, representing The Apples in stereo and Robert
Schneider's many side-projects including his new kids character Robbert
Bobbert & The Bubble Machine.
Efram is formerly the Senior Director of Marketing & Operations for The
MuseBox, a music culture marketing company based in NYC and Toronto.
Efram's extensive international experience and broad musical taste led
vanguard Eastern European Folk group The Klezmatics to a 2007 Best
Contemporary World Music Album Grammy Award for their album "Wonder
Wheel" (Lyrics by Woody Guthrie). He has participated as a sought-after
panelist for a multitude of conferences and conventions including SXSW,
CMJ Marathon and Popkomm.
In film, Efram is the Lead Producer for the full-length documentary
feature "Call It Democracy" which gained notoriety for its 35 school
non-partisan university tour prior to the 2004 U.S. Presidential
Election. Additionally, he has served as Music Supervisor for two
full-length independent feature films and several television programs
including "Beautiful Noise," "The Berkeley Sessions" and "Innovators."
