This love is long overdue. So I apologize profusely to Brenton Covington and Alexander Duong, two impressive filmmakers who contacted me a few months back to see if I would be interested in watching their short films.
For my Thanksgiving break, I made it my mission to finally sit down and catch up on their films, and I'm glad I did!
First we have Brenton Covington, a filmmaker from Tempe, Arizona. He wrote, produced, edited, and directed the short film "Eleanor Rigby." It's a contemplative piece about an elderly man remembering the sins of his past.
"Eleanor Rigby" is gripping in its entirety, well acted, smartly paced, and will make you wish you'll be able to see a full-feature of the project.
