Good news for anime fans! ‘Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-‘ is gearing up for its second season, and it’s dropping in January 2024. The brilliant minds at J.C. Staff are behind the animation, ensuring we’re in for a visual treat.
For those out of the loop, this anime made waves after its debut in 2021. Kei Azumi’s light novel series inspired it. The title might ring a bell – ‘Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchou.’ Since 2013, AlphaPolis has been treating readers with its publication. Not to mention, Kotora Kino crafts a manga adaptation.
The latest tidbits from the anime’s creators include a fresh visual and trailer. But what truly caught my attention was the addition of 10 cast members. Ai Kakuma will voice Hibiki Otonashi, while Ami Koshimizu will take on Navarre Polar. Chiharu Sawashiro is lending his voice to Belda Nortst Limia, and Natsue Sasamoto will bring life to Yukinatsu Kazusa.

Netflix is going all in on anime as they add the eagerly anticipated Godzilla movie and 12 other projects to their slate of upcoming programming. Deadline says in addition to the series the network is also overseeing the development of Cannon Busters, Devilman Crybaby, B: The Beginning, and Knights Of The Zodiac: Saint Seiya just to name a few.
The Godzilla and Saint Seiya grabs really show that Netflix is working to grab their Western audience who loves anime, but with competitors like Crunchyroll and Funimation (who was recently bought by Sony) in the mix, who knows if they'll be able to compete on that front. Time will tell, but the addition of so many projects seems promising for the future of anime on the platform.

Japanese Anime Kill La Kill kicked into a whole new gear in 2014. We salute a daring, daft series available now on Netflix...
Kill La Kill. Regardless of what it means - allegedly it’s a series of Japanese double-entendres - that title is a bomb-blast: two kills and a dose of French sophistication for good measure. It's a violently amusing name for the anime series, promising claret by the bucketload, a ticking brain (or just the right amount of snark) and the everlasting appeal of total nonsense. Logic may apply, be it worldly or otherwise, but you're already set for the rules to be broken.
Despite airing its first half of episodes last year, Klk kicked into a whole other gear in 2014, garnering a large international following as it barrelled towards its March finale. The entire series is currently bubbling away on Netflix for immediate watching, and it is something...
