When you think Game of Thrones, you think dragons, epic battles, and merciless plot twists—but for one Ted Lasso actress, her experience on set went to a whole new level. Picture this: strapped to a wooden table for grueling hours, all in the name of TV magic.

Tom Hardy is finally saying goodbye to his version of Venom in the last and latest entry in the franchise Venom: The Last Dance. The actor has played the role for six years, beginning with 2018’s Venom, and though the films themselves have received mixed reviews, Hardy and the symbiote’s relationship and performance have always been praised.
While the latest film is rated PG-13, Hardy mentioned that they did have ideas to make it R-rated and go all the way like Hugh Jackman’s final film (before his comeback this year) Logan. The actor mentioned that though he and director Kelly Marcel were down for the idea, they kept it PG-13 as the rest of the films were similarly rated.

5 TV Girlbosses/Girlfailures that You Love to Root For - Main Image
Almost everyone is familiar with the concept of a ‘girlboss' who is usually a strong woman character that gets everything done and stands on her own in a masculine environment, but this year saw the popularity of the term ‘girlfailure’ which describes a female character that is usually clumsy or in distress—but rather than the term being derogatory, it means that these traits actually make the character more endearing and relatable.
Though it’s necessary for the girlboss to always be at her best, here’s a list of some girlfailure/girlbosses that prove that being on top doesn’t mean that you can’t be a little ditzy or weird once in a while.

Jason Sudeikis had some uplifting pointers for WNBA players ahead of the Game 5 finals — delivered in his signature Southern drawl as Ted Lasso.
Sitting on ESPN’s panel ahead of the match-up between the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx, commentator Carolyn Peck asked the Emmy winner if he had any tips for the athletes in the vein of his beloved soccer coach character: “Give me your best Ted Lasso quote, statement that you would give to the New York Liberty,” she prompted.
“Hey,” Sudeikis began, adopting the laconic, quippy speech emblematic of the cheerful leader. “Shot layups. Don’t let ’em shoot layups. That simple. Let’s go ladies. Let’s cook.”
Pretty much what audiences would expect from the good-natured straight-shooter.
Sudeikis has long been a fan of Liberty, being pictured courtside at games throughout the year. In August, Sudeikis attended a matchup of the team’s against the visiting Dallas Wings,...

Amazon MGM Studios boss Jennifer Salke, Octavia Spencer and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were among the big names lauding the role of women in TV and film at a Prime Video event today.
“Women are at the core of our business – from our incredible actors, our inventive producers and our executive teams,” said Salke, at the Trailblazers event in Central London. The event saw multiple stars, producers and directors touching on issues such as pay parity and production, with several trailers and first looks also unveiled.
During a conversation with Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer, Salke said the pitch for The Help star’s untitled comedy thriller series opposite Hannah Waddingham was among the best she had heard in her career.
“I have heard thousands of pitches, maybe tens of thousands, and it was a top three — the relationship of two women at the center with action, humor and heart,” she said.

It’s official: Prime Video has given a series order to a Reacher spinoff, expanding the hit drama’s universe. It stars Maria Sten, reprising her fan favorite character from the mothership, Frances Neagley. Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, made the announcement at the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event in London.
As Deadline revealed exclusively last month, the untitled project (aka Neagley), had been on fast track, nearing a green light.
The offshoot was created for television by Reacher executive producer and showrunner Nick Santora, who developed the mothership series based on Lee Child’s books, and Nicholas Wootton, with whom he previously worked on Prison Break. The duo will executive produce and co-showrun the spinoff, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and CBS Studios.
Sten’s Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago and former military colleague of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.
As Deadline revealed exclusively last month, the untitled project (aka Neagley), had been on fast track, nearing a green light.
