- She survived a near fatal accident in 2006 in Los Angeles, Calif. while relocating to LA and attending her Feature Film premiere at the Laemmle Sunset. During her years of rehabilitation, she edited a work of historical fiction and produced other works for solo artists while advocating for and working with those suffering from chronic pain and trauma.

- Her first full-length play, based loosely on her experiences working with Billy Idol in NYC, was developed in the writer's salon in Buenos Aires of Félix (Grigio) della Paolera (poet, journalist, author and translator of literary brother and dear friend Jorge Luis Borges). Paolera and Borges were a great influence in developing young writers beyond linguistics.
