Dubbed 'Giddy' by Rob Da Bank as a DJ name, where he was a resident
disk-jockey at his Sunday Best club for over ten years. He learned his
trade scratching obscure soundtracks with rare phycadelia, grooves and
jazz at this then small hang-out.
Not wasting an opportunity, he documented thousands of live acts and
representation of years of festivals, with an archive library of live
acts growing up to become world class performers.
It was not such a surprise to start making videos for some of his
favorite bands. When approached by Dan Carey (co-writer of Kylie's
'Slow') to animate a video of two loveless keyboards he was soon seen
on Hampstead Heath with two giant Moog looking models he had built from
cardboard.
The next obvious step for him was to take on the job as documentary
director for Mike Dowse's DJ mockumentary "It's All Gone Pete Tong".
He spent six weeks on the island of Ibiza, documenting everything
around the clock for a good twenty hours each day, living on location,
in a toilet cum changing room.
